Mitch funded more of his campaign and gave him far more juice than the creepy mentor. See also Mitch *not* funding Thiel’s other weirdo lapdog in Arizona and how that worked out. |
He changes names and jobs as easily as he changes his political positions. |
The first three paragraphs of this are the most insightful thing I've read about JD Vance. I'm not sure about the last paragraph -- I'm not sure he's really aspiring to take on that mantle. But I do think he has some hole in him that he needs to fill by constantly moving to the next thing, and this was the train that he could jump on. I think he thinks that when he inherits it, he can make it over into some other different thing (or he hasn't thought that far). But you know what they say about face-eating-leopards.... |
I would really, really, really like to know the back story on this. Is he just the luckiest son-of-a-gun in history, to get a plush desk job as an enlisted guy straight out of HS during war time? Everyone I know that enlisted like this got sent right into fighting. Unless someone in basic trainign said "uh, we can't send this guy to the front..." I just DO NOT understand how he got that position. Why don't they save that sh-t for people that have already done a deployment or two, or someone with a short-term disability or pregnancy? This really upends everything I thought I knew about the military. |
I guess, those who recruited him noticed very early that he was a talented writer, capable of seeing big picture and sensitive to individual struggles and tragedies. Many years of deployment do not necessary guarantee that someone will become a talented communicator and writer. Plus, they might have noticed that he dead big dreams and aspired to change the world, so they made it easy for him by giving him a desk job with an option to finish college early. Not every Marines is an ambitious and committed dreamer. |
Exactly. His entire life is a lie, as if he was groomed and created by Langley. |
Do you get lots of opportunities to demonstrate your writing talent during basic training? |
If you’re implying he’s some sort of Jason Bourne, I think the government should get its money back. JD seems like a propped up failure. |
No. Who knows when, but it’s pretty obvious if you take a big picture look at all the “coincidences” in his life he was recruited and being “helped” to create a CV for fast ascent in high office. |
Are mayor Pete, Elissa Slotkin and Josh Shapiro “Jason Bournes”? ![]() |
This explains so much, notably why he’s so angry and why he’s sinking Trump’s ticket. Americans are instinctively repulsed by ugly losers. "JD Vance" Hamel Bowman Chilukuri has always been a creepy ugly loser. He knows it, we know it. No amount of faux arrogant posture he over practices in the mirror can change that fact. Vance is gonna get decimated by Walz. |
My goodness. You clearly know all about “creepy ugly losers.” Wow. |
The name changes and the flexible moral compass make me think he has Borderline Personality Disorder. It fits. He has childhood trauma due to a violent upbringing. |
Good lord. He is the absolute worst but it's just a silly picture from high school. No one knows what this guy is really like, not even him at this point. But he's working to install an ugly dictator into the American presidency and that's really all we need to know. Also he tends to say horrible and creepy things about women all the time for no reason at all. |
