| I have been exercising 3-4x per week, cutting down on carbs, sugar, salt . I have been fairly dedicated. How did you get and keep off the last ten pounds? |
| Intermittent fasting could be a sustainable approach...? |
| Stop eating after 6pm. |
| Lose 9 lbs first then work on the last pound |
| IF. I just never eat breakfast and eat a sensible lunch and dinner. Nothing after dinner. On weekends I often fast until dinner time if I have coffee in the morning. I got crucified for saying it here one time, but it’s what I do and it works. |
| Another vote for IF. |
Calorie deficit. Goal weight multiplied by 10-12 is the range you should aim for. Hit that range 90% of the time. Cutting back on carbs and sugar is great but you need to make sure you aren't just eating more of other things. intermittent fasting can work as you basically skip one meal a day, but again if you make up for that missed meal bu eating more at the next meal then you've cancelled it all out. |
| Eat very little. Sleep as much as possible. |
Generally this. The calorie range is just a range - it's going to vary person to person, but try it for a couple of weeks and make changes as necessary. |
| And getting and keeping it off are two different animals. |
Does sleep in itself really help THAT much??? |
If you don't eat at least 3-4 hours before going to bed - YES |
Same |
I have no problem with this approach but I think I would be hangry by 10am. |
I try this every day, but I am so hungry by 10 am. What time do you stop eating/go to bed/wake up/and eat your first meal? |
