Bronwyn - girl’s name

I think it’s Welsh or British. I never heard it before but I think it’s so pretty. Pronounced Bron-win.

I’m having a boy so it’s not an option but just putting it out there for others!

I knew a lovely Bronwyn. I'm pretty sure that she was an English major.

It is of Welsh origin, which is British, OP. Wales is in Britain.
The only Bronwyn I knew was really bitchy, but I like the name.

I know a jewish couple who named their daughter that. I think it's horrifically ugly.

There was a Bronwyn at my Catholic HS who was on the dance team. It’s an ok name, although it is a bit pretentious.

Love it. Just use it if you love it - everyone has name association so it doesn't matter. It's an interesting, very British, different name.

I love it and wanted to use it but DH wouldn’t go for it.

I think it’s pretty awful. I taught a Bronwyn when she was in HS and she was mortified that anyone hear her real name. She asked to be called “B”.
