Have you heard of Shannan Martin? Jen wrote the foreword to one of her books. She seems to be more down-to-earth, not looking for the influencer life.

And I think Jen looks frumpy in that reel for Able clothing.

I bought one of Shannen Martin's books based on a recommendation from Jen (I no longer bother with these recommendations, because it's usually just pushing a fellow author at the request of the publisher.) The gist of the book was "we were building wealth and then that seemed sinful, so we moved into the ghetto and started fostering older teens and husband took a job as a jail chaplain (I think) and now we just barely get by. But my local coffee shop knows me by name."
So, it didn't really fly for me.

Perfect summary!

Also she’s always showing up in the comments of Jen (and Tyler’s) posts begging for attention. If Shannan is as “authentic” as she claims to be, she wouldn’t be trying to hitch her wagon to that trainwreck.

No tyler didn’t give crickets. He said: you are more than enough. That’s it. That’s the post

Her clothes are always ill-fitting. She's wearing the wrong sizes, not to mention style.

"Guys! I turn 50 this August and I decided I want to spend my birthday on a lifetime cruise with you!"

Translation: "I'm turning 50 and I want all of you suckers to sign up so that I get a free cruise."

Ikr?! Why? The jeans are too short and small.

I came here to say this exactly - too short, too small and she also seems uncomfortable in these outfits as if she’s wearing someone else’s clothes or someone else dressed her or both.

At this rate can you imagine how ridiculous Jen will be in five years?

It’s deeply sad to want to celebrate a milestone birthday like ones 50th with 150
paying strangers on a European River Cruise. I could not imagine anything so soulless and empty.

Milestone 50th’s should be with one’s dearest family and friends and it shouldn’t be a money making scheme.

How could she want to do this? It’s a decision as ill advised as her frayed ill fitting clam digger jeans.

Ok this latest post about how her boyfriend is a “6’2 black man with dreadlocks” and so NOW she experiences the world at his side.

Ummmm… ma’am have you not parented two black children to near adulthood? THIS (fake) relationship is what opened your eyes, not your own children’s experiences ? Cool. This definitely does not seem made up for clicks.

So many of the comments:
I’m also dating a 6’7 man;
as the MIL of a 6’5 black man;
my husband is a beautiful 6’3 black man….

So weird. Nobody saying, “My husband is 5’8.”

Jen wants us to notice that her “boyfriend” is black guys. She really really wants us to notice that.
