For the love of god don’t skip the deodorant. Every single day. Slather it on generously. Especially if you’re going to do something weird like hold the treadmill, releasing your armpit funk in a fiercely pungent way.
|
And the deodorant from the health food store doesn’t count. |
Nor does that “crystal” pretending to be a deodorant that your hippie SIL tried to pass off as legit. |
Actually alum crystal works the best for me. |
Yup. I’m all about the organic, but the natural stuff doesn’t work. You need to go full chemical. Deodorant is one of the kindest things you can do for others. |
Adding to the list of requests: Please re-rack your weights. That means put them back - in the right place - when you are done using them. Goes for dumbbells and also for equipment that uses plates. |
Wipe down the machines, ffs.
Also, when a yoga room is only half full, don’t put your mat down so close to mine. |
Firmly disagree with this one. It’s just extra waste for no reason. If you’re a germaphobe you can wipe it down before for your own piece of mind. But I’m not sick, so it’s just a needless landfill addition. But i’ll add: do not go to the gym if you are sick!! Wait it out. Or workout at home or outside if you really need to do something. |
Self-reporting doesn’t work with this issue. We need verification from others who spend time with you. ![]() |
Don't worry; I'll only be here for a couple of weeks! ![]() Just kidding. Good luck, everyone! |
If you're in the gym and the smell of BO bothers you, then you're in the wrong gym.

lol..this post came a week early. |
You have grown to be anosmic to your own BO. Use the real stuff. |
amen sister! |
The smell of sweat is to be expected. The odor of armpit stench is a different story entirely. Use deodorant. |
