| I’ll start. I like Max Mara, Piazza Sempioni, Givenchy bags, Celine, subtle YSL, Akris, Sonia Rykiel, Reiss, Black Halo, Frame, Brunello Cucinelli (too $$$, but love the look), Ellie Tahari, Tahari, DVF, some Vince. Sezanne. Zadig and Voltaire. Shoes I like Stuart Weitzman. I also mix in Zara, a little J. Crew. Cars- I like Mercedes sedans and the smaller SUV and I like Jeeps. I love old Alfa Romeos. I could care less what car people drive. We use have had Mercedes for years and find them to be very good cars. We hold onto them 10-13 years. I also think someone can look very chic in thrift store clothes. It’s really more about the person than the clothing or brands. |
| ^ I want to be your friend. ? This is so much nicer to read than the other thread. |
| Vince for clothes and shoes. |
| Yes! The other thread just needs to die. I think MaxMara, Hermès, Dior, and Van Cleef and Arpels are elegant. |
|
H and M for clothes. Yep, I just said that.
In the same vein, Mango and OVD when I’m in Europe Agree with PP on Vince Arc T’yrex. A little douchey/logo whore for an everyday fleece. Unbeatable and better than Canada Goose for the warmest, lightest winter parkas |

Vince Tahari DVF Uniqlo Sandro Boden Missoni For shoes - Arche, Aquatalia, Stuart Weitzman Also a huge fan of vintage. Elegance is not brand-based, but you know it when you see it! Good fit and good fabrics are key. |
| I like Jeffrey Campbell shoes and Rebecca Taylor blouses. |
| Not luxury by any means but I like the quality of LL Bean’s our wear and wool sweaters. Lord and Taylor’s house brand is also affordable and nice. |
|
Rebecca Taylor (was unknown to me, but thanks DCUM. I have the cutest party dress now), APC, Vince, Haider Ackermann, Reformation, Kooples, Liberty, Brora. I love browsing for and buying vintage Harris Tweed or donegal wool pieces (blazers, overcoats) from eBay/etsy.
