How does Alexandria's futsal program compare to other clubs like the FCV/Puma or Denis Cabral?
Looking for a high level for u16 girl but not interested in flying all over to tournaments. http://www.alexandria-soccer.org/futsal-programs/register-here |
| waste of time for girls they only cater to boys |
Thanks! Any other options besides those referenced above? |

Depends on what you are looking for. Their futsal ID program is generally the travel level program and as far as I know tryouts for that have come and gone.
Their other futsal program, which is still open as far as I know, is open to anyone and more of a recreational / some select players level. The latter doesn't include any training that I'm aware of, just games. I'm not familiar with FCV/Puma, so can't comment there. I've always been impressed with Dennison Cabral's teams. Not sure about the training, but they generally have the talent - not sure when their sign ups are. Hope that helps some. |
That was my experience too. |
easy to see.. look at the projected tournaments for boys and girls. Both are paying same amount of money but really look at the 2008 boys they damn near participating at every tournament you can imagine. |
Not my experience and simply not true. The girls teams get the same coaches and training, and do the same tournaments, as the boys. The boys tend to perform better because they have better players, not because they are "catered" to more. |
maybe you should see the post above.. its clear who they cater to more. are you scared to show the link? Im sure by now Alexandria put down the link that shows projected tournaments for boys and girls I would too

You must be looking at the wrong thing. The Futsal ID player sheets shows the girls play the same tournaments as the boys. No more and no less. |
Somebody obviously has an agenda combined deception and technical illiteracy. You will see some people who run rival programs spread a lot of crap about futsal, especially Alexandria. Here are the links to which the PP referred, which show that he is both lying and stupid (or too lazy to click through to see that he is wrong): Here's the U16 Red girls schedule: https://alexandria-soccer.demosphere-secure.com/_files/futsal-id-program/U16%20Girls%20Futsal%20ID%20Overview%202019_20.pdf Here's the U16 Red boys schedule (they've won a national championship): https://alexandria-soccer.demosphere-secure.com/_files/futsal-id-program/U16%20Boys%20Futsal%20ID%20Overview%202019_20.pdf Same training schedule. Same tournaments. Same costs. Same lies from competitors. The ID sessions are over but you should feel free to contact the coach if you are interested. The league includes both ID teams, futsal teams from other clubs, and rec teams. They divide and group teams appropriately. I don't know if they allow individual player registration. |

let the record show that Alexandria really does cater to boys. I know the Alexandria staff has a lot of time in the office counting money but Ray Charles sees this |
look at the 2008 girls and boys.. (drops the mic) |
wow PP wasn't lying |
| U13 same thing big difference between boys and girls... |
| I have a legitimate question for the Alexandria staff on this forum. How can you charge both sexes same price but then somehow boys have a extra tournament or 2 without paying extra? |
