Yes, I can imagine being in the same room with Barbie, as the not so hot ex-wife! But it would require maturity, self-confidence, humility, and a level of open heartedness. It could work if you had those things.

Is she talking about Tina?

Yes!!!

In the most graceful way possible, she described Tina as Barbie.

In the Jen Hatmaker subreddit T is described as Texas Barbie but endearingly, not a slam on her. She looks amazing but def the Texas esthetic

Oh gosh, and today she is getting her hair highlighted and says she needs it to be that color because that's how God created her in her mother's womb?? WHOA.

I don’t know why she insists on the brassy blonde. She looked so much better and softer as brunette/auburn haired or even a darker blonde. This color just is not complimenting her in any way.

One of her kind followers was honest enough on FB to tell her that she looked prettier as a brunette. Jen responded to her and then she proceeded to get railed in the comments. Guess Jen would rather have flattery lies from the corn holers themselves.

I had to go look at her Facebook page. All her minions saying it’s called old money blonde these days. But, sweetie, hers aint old money blonde. It’s tacky, brassy, yellow, trying too hard blonde.

Oh good lord, the hair is SO bad right now. What is that weird ombré thing she’s doing? I agree she looks so much better as a brunette or red head but this iteration of blonde is exceptionally bad.

I feel mortified over the singing at the end of the stories today: the idea is to express joy? It's really sad. I don't feel any joy from her at all! This has been repeated a lot here, but I don't understand the lack of gratitude. She really does have such a beautiful home, and a freezer full of food. I honestly pray that she sees the abundance she has in her life on every level. It could really turn her around.

Riveting cleaning out the freezer content. Why?

Who is “she”? I’ve been out of the loop as well.

I felt bad for this girl! She just simply commented. It was a simple "I thought you looked prettier as a brunette." I guess maybe she could've phrased it differently, like "I think the brunette tones complemented your coloring better" or something like that?
Jen snarked back with "I looked prettier as a 130lb 25yrold, but THINGS CHANGE." (Clearly, this is a nerve stepped on.)
And the followers chiming in with hatred and "if you can't say something nice..." were ridiculous. The poor woman didn't say "I think you look prettier as a brunette and you look like awful as a blonde."

I just read through that comment thread. The entire thing was bizarre. First, Jen's response to the commenter was "THINGS CHANGE," which is an odd response given the whole narrative on the post about being created a blonde and needing to dye her hair now because things changed. If the commenter is supposed to accept that things change then shouldn't Jen as well?

Second, all of the followers shaming the woman for saying she looked better as a brunette, like it was some kind of horrible insult and something that shouldn't be expressed in public. Jen is the one making her entire life a public spectacle. Why is it therefore terrible for someone to publicly say how they really feel about it? And it didn't feel like an insult to me, just a gently expressed personal opinion. Apparently though, the only thing allowed is 100% affirmation of any choice someone makes at all times. What a sad shallow way to live.

I can't imagine being married to one of these women.

She is delusional if she thinks this blonde is natural, authentic or flattering. She looks so harsh. Even her makeup (lips and eyes) is always so harsh and too much. Nothing looks age appropriate or natural and she has potential.
