| Cloth seats. We've cleaned it, but I'd like to get a professional in there; there's still a slight odor. I called around a few places today, no pickups. Any recs? |
| I recommend spraying some natures miracle on it. It’s made for urine but it eliminates odors too. |
| Who put baby in a new car? First kid? |
The kid's 5; we're not talking spit up. |
| Rookie mistake OP. +1 to the natures miracle. Also scrub the area with a paste of baking soda and small amount of water. Leave it for a while and then clean off. Leave a box of baking soda in the car for the next month. |

Go to pet store and look for odor removing products.
Also if your kid isn’t not sick, you may be driving too fast. |
| Does anyone have a recommendation for a professional? I know this is DCUM, but I actually had a pretty clear question. |
| You want a hot water extractor. I rented one from Home Depot. It pushes down hot soapy water and then pulls it up with shop vacuum force. |
Actually it wasn't clear. You just said "any recs?" |
Do this. Don’t let it dry. Much more difficult once it dries |
NP. She was very clear “Cloth seats. We've cleaned it, but I'd like to get a professional in there; there's still a slight odor.” |
Right, sure. In any event, I definitely didn't ask for advice on my driving or at what age it's appropriate to use a car with my children. |
| Don’t be lazy OP. Go to a detailing service, fine. But the point is you’re going to have to do some repeat treatments. |

Don't use Nature's Miracle. I find it doesn't work as well as Simple Solution.
The key is to soak the area and let it air dry. If that doesn't work, you can get it detailed. But we have to know where you are to give you recommendations. I know a good place in Annandale, VA. https://www.amazon.com/Simple-Solution-Extreme-Remover-Pro-Bacteria/dp/B00318RL0A |
| Clean well and then spray with cheap vodka. |
