When I think about the womanizing men sometimes I wonder why they need to “settle down”.
Their market value keeps increasing. If they are handsome and make good money, they can sleep with so many women and never have to endure a dead bedroom. They can get companionship and validation through various friends with benefits type arrangements. Why even put up with marriage? |
That lifestyle eventually gets very, very empty. |
Most men don't fall into that category, while a few do. If the man is very rich or very good looking, they can keep on playing the field. Otherwise, they hit a wall.
Just ask my dh's friends who were holding out for the hottest woman they could find. They are now middle aged, losing their hair, single, and rarely dating. |
Uh, security, stability, family, home... I feel so sorry for you |
This seems like it was written by a woman. Reads like a woman's marriage wishlist. There are a lot of unhappy marriages out there for which none, if any, of these apply anyway. |
Enjoy dying alone |
Nice scare tactic ya got there... |
Men don't get "security" out of an LTR or marriage. That's what women get. And men only get the "stability, family, home" until she gets bored and takes them away from you. |
+1 |
Some men want to settle down, some don't. Just like some women want to settle down and some don't.
The only ones I know who are unhappy are those who didn't end up with what they wanted, regardless of male/female or married/single. |
Love? |
The question is not, “Aren’t you afraid of dying alone?” It is, “What will you do with your life between now and then?” Is your answer, "get shackled to one woman who will turn into a miserable sex-denying harpy and probably divorce you"? Or is it, "sleep with as many different women as possible"? Those who say "that life gets old and empty" have never actually tried it. |
Ugh, this sounds like Bill Maher. Never had sex with anyone he was in love with who was in love with him back. Such a sad life for anyone who has had a more meaningful, uh, experience. But keep kidding yourself PP. |
I'm the one that said it gets empty. Been there done that. It gets old. They eventually start to morph into random orifices instead of human beings and that can be a bit alienating. Also there is no depth. It's like running from sugar high to sugar high. Gets old. |
We should have people identify themselves as man or women before answering in this thread lol. |
