there are no uniforms because several age groups JUST got enough players rostered

We always order new uniforms well before season, usually in late June or early July. Waiting until August was either purposeful or horrible, horrible planning and execution. Before, EM and JN would at least have this all organized. With LB in charge, this I fear could become routine.

But, I don’t think it’s just bad leadership. PP is correct, teams have only very recently come together.

I don’t see any CCL teams having dates/locations for this weekends game, except one. Maybe everyone took the opportunity to reschedule this first week?

if you’re in LMVSC you’d probably understand better; what you’re implying is not the case. they don’t have enough players nor teams

If they don’t have enough teams and players, will they still go forward with the ages/teams that do have enoigh?

Not true, there are some holes but mostly on the girls side. On the boys side most age groups have two teams. I think 04 or 03 may be only one team. I was told games were rescheduled and not cancelled.

sorry, but I’ve had several conversations with parents. there’ll be musical chairs to fill out rosters with many many kids playing up. and again, not to “aid development” but just to “get 11 players in field with a couple subs”. i will come back to this comment when it’s finally all formalized

That’s mostly on the girls side though. Unfortunate that it’s the situation. The club needs to do a solid job in rebuilding that side of the club.

It's not just the girls side. If you want to keep thinking that go for it. If it wasn't for Annandale folding, we wouldn't have a 2003 team. 2004 is in NCSL. 2005 will be one team. 2006 and 2007 were strong, but best players have left. 2009 (one team) is in NCSL. Would you like to continue?

There's no way your DS is in LMVSC. PP was spot on, player pool is down considerably for BOTH boys and girls teams.

DP but I have a 2007 and although player pool is smaller the best players are still there at training. Know a few parents on 06 and most of those players are returning. According to them, team looks solid.

The 2006 and 2007 both lost boys, and the 2006 were struggling in CCL already. Went from three teams to two in both age groups.

Are you an 06 CCL parent to say they were struggling. Simply looking at record is not an indication of struggling.

Several players left last year—these kids often started. More have left this year. The 2006 boys red team, why DS is not apart of, did lose most of their games. So when do you want to say they are struggling? Losing players last year, losing players this year, the win loss record, or losing an entire team this year?

2005 boys is the in the same bucket, went from three teams last year to two last year (lost a team almost once season started)... now it's looking like one team.
