| Congrats to Sidwell football. While not a great team by any means, the AD did a good job scheduling a bunch of cupcakes. Mix in a few decent players and a very down year for the MAC, and it looks like Sidwell is going to win the MAC this year. |

| The team actually has three or four stud players this year (QB, LB/RB, SS), a stout set of linemen, and really good skill position players. The fallacy is that any school with 60 boys in a graduating class could consistently field a great football team, unless that is their sole mission (see IMG Academy, Montrose Christian). There will be up years and there will be down years. |
