Newsone is a serial cheater and lied about Covid rules he flagrantly ignored.

We must not stoop to their level and elect someone as sleazy / unfaithful as trump.

How do you know he’s a serial cheater? I’m not a fan, but I hadn’t heard that particular piece of Intel.

Biden always has been a petty tyrant who believes his own spin about himself. He’s always been an angry vengeful blowhard who blames everyone else for his troubles. He always sees himself as the victim.

Which is why he’ll stay put

You are describing Trump perfectly minus the working class background.

Agree. He's still extremely resentful of Obama, Pelosi and the rest of the establishment for telling him to move aside for Hillary Clinton, who, of course, proceeded to lose to Donald Trump. He does think of himself as a giant among men, the Trump-slayer, and the only hero who can defend the Republic from tyranny.

He's 81 years old and in rapid cognitive and physical decline. No one is reasoning with him now. His course is set in his own mind. Absolutely nothing can remove him from the ballot. Biden will be the nominee.

And it will be a disaster. Trump will pick up 350 Electoral votes at minimum, including Virginia, Minnesota and all the battleground states. And Republicans will take the Senate and keep the House. Catastrophe.

I’m thinking this soft coup might really be about the Trump tax cuts expiring next year. Biden as POTUS means they don’t get extended. SALT snaps back to fully deductible. Biden has talked about raising capital gains.

Most of the people who have come out against Biden represent the financial and tech wings of the party: PELOSI, Schumer, Tester, Brown, Jefferies, Khanna, folks from Obama team, etc.

This is really about taxes, imho.

I mean he was married to Kimberly Guilfoyle, the Fox News personality and present girlfriend of Donald Trump Jr.

Wouldn't you cheat too?

Just think of thousands of federal judges and appellate judges Trump will appoint with close to 60 Senate majority. Maybe 1 or 2 supreme court justices as well.

You don't think Democrats like LBJ, John Kennedy, and Bill Clinton cheated on their wives? Only Jimmy Carter and Obama remained faithful to their wives.

Something like 99% of the delegates are bound by DNC rules to vote for Joe Biden in first round of voting at the Convention. So it’s already Joe Biden’s nomination. The delegates are not free to vote their own choice.

This is why they are trying to publicly pressure him to step down.

Democrats need to get off social media. This is completely an astroturfed pressure campaign. Lots of phony enthusiasm for “replace Joe” by bot accounts.

So what is the end game for Biden staying in? He *hopefully* wins because people so dislike Trump, then if he has to step down after the election, Harris becomes President? It’s clear that he won’t be healthy enough for the next 4 years.

I think that was always the plan. All the polling has been very clear for years. Americans do not want an 86 year old President named Joe Biden. And yet the DNC went all in with Biden regardless of all the red flags. So presumably, the DNC assumed Trump would be an easy win for them. Biden gets in, resigns, Harris becomes President, and it's sunshine and rainbows for the next 8 years.

Now here we are. Democrats looking at catastrophic losses in November. The DNC seems to have forgotten that people don't vote for the VP. They vote for President. And after the debate, it became clear that the presumed Democratic nominee and current President is a feeble geriatric with dementia. There is no possibility of Biden winning now. And the panic has set in.

The original sin was Joe Biden deciding to run for a second term. Everything derives from that utterly reckless decision.

I still don’t believe there will be catastrophic losses. Look at who is on the R ticket, 2 extreme candidates. Extremely unappealing to a large swath of the electorate. Plus the Rs are so overconfident they will win, as I am sure their supporters are. How many of those folks will come out to vote?

After Trump popped up, bloodied from an assassin's bullet, you don't think Republicans will at least show up to vote?

You have to realize it’s bigger than just what you say! It’s not about republicans showing up to vote for him! I’m not a republican and I am so happy to cast my vote this November. It will be a referendum on the Democratic Party. I’m not switching my affiliation because of him, but I’ll throw him a vote just like what will happen across all the states!

Got it, so supporting an insurrectionist. He was such a sore loser and had a tantrum like my son did when he was 5 yrs old and lost a soccer game. He lost, too bad, deal with it. No instead, had to incite a riot because he couldn’t put his big boy pants on. Total disgrace and no place being President again. he should’ve never been allowed to run.

Is this when he was married to Kimberly Guilfoyle? I bet she has some good dirt on him. Probably makes more sense for him to run when it's not against Trump.

It was in 2007 after he and Guilfoyle had already divorced but before he met his current wife. He was 39. However, the woman was his subordinate + married to his campaign manager
