Nice try. No. |
Actually, absolutely yes. |
The point isn’t about the process the point is that a skilled athlete has a talent that others don’t and it makes them more appealing. The same mentality applies to passion projects, etc.. |
Does the novelist get a pre-read, personal assistance from the school in the application process and an offer even before that year’s application goes live? |
No one is taking away the accomplishments of a recruited athlete, but if you really think committing in the fall of junior year is the same as a poet having to submit 20 or so applications senior year and compete with thousands of other applicants during the regular process, you are totally clueless. |
I’m a public school parent peeking in.., are all of these students hooked or simply just have enough money to do ED?
Even at the public schools linked above, the acceptances are impressive! |
Which one? They are sending two additional McDonald all Americans to UCLA this year in top of the other all American you're referring to. |
The one I am referring to. ? |
All schools do it this way across the country. Public and private. |
I'm trying to ascertain what you're implying about the player you're referring to. |
The "W" schools in Montgomery County are known to be arguably better than the top DC area privates. |
Okay Chip. |
😂 |
Yes, it appears that way |
Who cares?! Not everyone sends their kids to private just so they can get into an Ivy and there are tons of self motivated, highly intelligent and gifted kids in public. Why is this even a pissing contest? All this is saying is that some public parents are jealous others can send their kids to private and some private parents are insecure about spending the money they are to send their kids to private. If everyone was secure in their choices, no one would be trying to one up anyone else. It's juvenile. We should ALL realize just how lucky we are to have incredible options to send our children to, and instead of trying to feel special because of where your kid goes to school, figure out a way so that underprivileged students can have an equal opportunity to be well educated too...or are you scared that will take away from you? |
