WW new purple, green plans

Just took effect.

I've been doing freestyle but I've been hungry too much.

I'm going to try purple so I can add some carbs. I think I'll have breakfast potatoes instead of bread in am and asian noodles instead of bread at lunch.

Trying to be optimistic.

Is anyone else going to change?

Sticking with blue for now. Might make a change later.

Purple! Eating whole grains will keep more satisfied and likely to stay on it. Plus they’re healthy! I still miss the precursor to Smartpoints which was very liveable to me because there wasn’t such a carb penalty.

Green. Much closer to calorie counting, which is the key to weight loss

Team purple here. Much more in alignment with my long term goals that include maintaining my goal weight by developing the habit of paying attention to satiation and eating healthy 95% of the time. It doesn’t actually change that much from how I was eating on freestyle, just all rice will now be brown and I do not count potatoes. Also, the points for my homemade granola Were reduced by half.

It's only been a day, but I already feel more satisfied with adding the zero point instant oats this am. I exercise a lot so I need the carbs. The no-fat cottage cheese is a bonus.

I used more butter this am - I think fat is supposed to fill you up.

Is this diet like keto?

How do you make your granola?

4 cup rolled oats (not instant)
1/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Bake on a cookie sheet in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until golden. I use parchment paper under for easy clean up.

1/4 cup is two smart points (on the purple plan)

I think the plan encourages healthy Whole Foods. Whole grains, fruits, Vegetables and lean protein. I usually eat my granola with yogurt and fruit.

Yeah I'm going to try purple too. I was doing fine on blue, rarely using my weekly points, so this'll be easier for me since I don't need to count things I already eat, like oatmeal, brown rice and sweet potatoes.

Green!! So much like the old WE!! I haven’t lost anything on freestyle. Lost 70 pound on the old WW.

NP. White rice is better. Brown rice has more arsenic.
