How will next year look like for DA/ECNL

Geographically speaking which clubs will feed who. Who looks like a future powerhouse.
VDA- seems to have a strong pool from VSA next year I wouldn’t count on PWSI for much help with how they been going down hill lately. Loudoun- As always Loudoun will have much of Loudoun County to choose from so Loudoun Soccer maybe some girls from SYA? Overall I don't see Loudoun having a strong team with the current girls team. Metro United- Im confused about this one. Where are they again? Great Falls/Reston area? Mclean- They better hope to recruit girls from Maryland if they wish to become a group of elite girls. Didn’t do good at Discovery group. FCV- This is one is interesting to see what they do next year. Are they staying in Loudoun? Moving to Springfield? If they move to Springfield the current girls now will make Loudoun soccer that much stronger. In springfield they have SYC, LMVSC, Alexandria, and even Annandale clubs to pull from so a decent team. BRYC- Nobody cares |

McLean didn't do good at Discovery Cup? Not that this tournament is the best yardstick but at keast get your facts straight.

Ah yes, you must be an 08 parent judging the entire club on one team in one tournament. Mclean may well be falling off but it didnt happen at the disco cup. Nevertheless, there does appear to be an error for the 08 green, the above came from the mclean site. Go to the discovery cup yourself to check the others. And then come back and eat your crow. |

Discovery cup is a mediocre tournament at best. |

| It will be quite interesting what happens with FCV. If they move, I don't think some parents are willing to make that commute. It could impact Loudoun Soccer positively. Of course, if you are an average/fringe player at Loudoun now, you will likely not make the team. |
