I think you guys are just enraged that Lively is attempting to go out in public and live her life again — as she must begin to do to try to minimize damages in the case — and people are accepting her. It is imploding your world view, because you want her destroyed, which is not the view of most normal people.

lol. You’re such an obvious bot. Nobody is accepting them, the public at large finds her and her psycho husband detestable.

Look, a bunch of weirdos on Reddit were very upset about this, but she went to the party, she accepted an award, she made a speech, and people clapped. People didn’t throw paint at her or line up to protest afaik. The public at large, beyond your hyped up corner of Reddit where people like crystal ball or whatever are hoping to make some profit from their hate posts, seems to be fine. Sorry you want more of a crucifixion but that does seem to be what happened, and it seems to be driving you guys crazy.

There is no “crucifixion” because she’s a D list joke married to an aging B list actor. I’m sure they’re fine in their bubbles full of phonies and yes-men, but the real world is just laughing at them. Their careers are over.

Look, I know it is sometimes difficult for you guys to accept reality given all the Baldoni hype social media is feeding you, but let me try.

Just for a little perspective, re Reddit:

The It Ends With Lawsuits sub, which now has no moderation and is ostensibly neutral although it has more pro-Baldoni members than pro-Lively, has 16K members. 20 of them are online right now (that is, 20 people, not 20 thousand, lol.)

The pro-Justin sub (TeamJustinBaldoni) has 7K members, and 20 of them are online rn.

The pro-Lively sub (BaldoniFiles) has 4.5K members, and 7 of them are online rn.

I'm sure there are other subs and other media etc, but your hatred of Lively does not seem to represent the feelings of a large portion of the population. Most people are getting on with their lives. This is very niche. The MTDs actually may take months to resolve so interest may drop off even more. I don't know if you will be able to find enough weird youtube and tiktok content to post here to keep people interested before those decisions come out.

Meanwhile, Deadpool v. Wolverine made $1.3 billion dollars worldwide. This was the last movie released by the guy you say is an aging B list actor whose career is over. He was credited as an actor, a co-writer, and a PGA producer of that movie. Attempts to get men to hate Ryan Reynolds by getting Joe Rogan to talk about IEWU basically failed — I read somewhere that this Joe Rogan podcast in March was one of the lowest rated Rogan podcasts in years but I’m not sure where. I am pretty sure Reynolds’s announced another Deadpool ensemble project within the last week; he seems to be doing okay, and we’ll see how Another Simple Favor does. This is a niche issue for several thousand women who are into celebrity news and gossip, and some but not all fans of Colleen Hoover's novels. I mean, carry forth with your army of a whole 20 people online right now conducting a hate campaign on behalf of your fearless leader Bryan Freedman, but maybe stop talking about this like everybody cares. Most do not, and acting like everyone is as caught up in the hate machine as you are is just odd.

If this is such a niche topic and we're such a small proportion of people, why does this rile you up so much? Enough to write paragraph after paragraph about this conflict, day in and day out? I'm really confused. I don't go into the Baldoni Files subreddit, upset over my perception that they're delusional. I leave them be in their little corner.

She's actually done far less press than would normally be expected for Another Simple Favor, likely because of the lawsuit and the fervor over it. But she's contractually obligated to promote it and it's in her best interest to do so. Ryan is also promoting multiple projects, including Wrexham which is probably gearing up for the Emmys now.

So she has a movie that is just coming out, he has a TV program that is making an Emmys bid, and all they'd done recently is her movie premiere (she attended the SXSW screening without him), the SNL 50th which she didn't even speak at and barely participated in, and the Time 100 gala. She also did that donut shop stunt which was so minor, and they've posted to social media a few times. I don't think they've done any interviews at all, and the Another Simple Favor cast doesn't appear to have done a junket which is unusual. Usually a couple with these sorts of projects coming out would be doing a full court press and what they are doing is pretty minor.

I somewhat agree with this -- I think it's overreach to condemn Blake for doing basic red carpet appearances since she's promoting a film. You are completely glazing over the Time 100 gala thing though. Pulling strings to get a nomination for donating some money six years ago for a plantation wedding you never properly apologized for, and then using said nomination to allude to your ongoing legal battle and further perpetuate the idea that women are unsafe from predators like Justin, is insane and she deserves all the backlash she's getting for that. That's getting people even more mad when she does the innocuous things like show up at a red carpet, so this is really an issue of her own making.

I don’t come here every day; there are multiple posters who are not pro-Baldoni. I don’t spend time on the pro-Baldoni subreddit either but know enough about Reddit to pull their members numbers, which is 7K people, compared to the $1.3 BILLION that the last Deadpool made, by the guy some Baldoni fan was bragging is an “aging B list actor” whose “career is over.” That’s what I was responding to, and it’s just something you all have made up, as you guys tend to do. So I posted some verifiable facts.

I hope you find this helpful.

Not just the dissertation posts nobody here is reading but he or she is now hyper-analyzing sub reddits and is delusionally convinced the posters on reddit must be here too! It's a vast choreographed conspiracy! lol. I mean this very sincerely and in the most literal sense PP: Go outside, breathe some fresh air and touch grass.

Who in their right mind is memorizing reddit analytics and cringy super hero movies? And that last Deadpool movie was starring Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, a bonafide A lister. No matter the case, that film's gross was BEFORE this husband and wife scheme went viral. Good luck with their careers moving forward...

No, you’re right, I didn’t mean to imply all the redditors were here. 25 people then? 50? 1,000?

Deadpool made $1.3 billion. Not even Joe Rogan could make men interested so that the hate would stick to Ryan Reynolds.

Deadpool 2 earned $786M. Deadpool 1 earned $782M. All 3 of these movies are less than 10 years old but oh well, I guess Reynold’s “career is over.” 👍

The appeal of Deadpool is the Deadpool character. Before he hit it big with the franchise, he had starred in a string of flops. However, Free Guy came out a few years ago and did pretty well. I don't think it's as simple as he's a huge box office draw or he's going to be a huge flop. We'll have to see how his next non-Deadpool movies do.

Good luck to Ryan moving forward. And what sort of person memorizes or is googling the gross of Ryan Reynold's movies? Dream big!

Why would we do that when Reynolds was largely responsible for Deadpool’s development and success, producing and financing part of the film to develop the character the way he wanted to see it instead of the way he had to play it in X Men: Wolverine? He spent 10 years developing the first one, and recently alluded that he is writing something connected to another one. Men love them and if he is going to do more of them, it seems pretty likely that they will probably perform at least as well as the first two. His career doesn’t seem over in the slightest to me, but I’m not smoking whatever the Baldoni fans are so ymmv.

I know, I know, you guys are allergic to facts! So googling them and posting them seems CRAZY to you -- why would someone do that when you can just post your obsessive stream of consciousness hate screeds? I get it, I get it.

It's crazy because it's the middle of a work day and you're googling and posting on here like it's a job.

Right, and they sound like press releases too, lmao. "Ryan Reynolds' global box office smash Deadpool 3 grossed more than $1.3 billion. Reynolds also served as executive producer, producer and stuntman, cementing his versatility as one of the best actors of his generation."

I find it really ironic that someone is trying to argue that this doesn’t matter aside from this thread and a few Reddit posters. Also, you were vastly under counting the engagement on Reddit. You’ve picked a couple of threads, there are dozens and dozens and dozens.

It matters to Ryan and Blake. It is their whole freaking life. We wouldn’t be in the situation if Blake had not decided there was a plot against her and that she had lost 90% of business revenue because of it so I think silly press and social media chatter matters to these people. Given what they’re paying PR and legal fees right now, I’d imagine it’s going to end up mattering to the tune of tens of millions of dollars.

Image is all these people have. I don’t understand how Ryan’s Deadpool franchise weighs into any of this, that movie had come and gone before any of the scandal happened. That was released in July, Blake‘s bad press from the marketing of the movie didn’t happen until August and this lawsuit hit in December so that ship had sailed. I’m happy for him that he’s had that success, but he’ll be 49 this year and there’s no guarantee that he’s going to keep churning out successful movies. Outside of Deadpool, which is not gonna last forever, he doesn’t have a great track record of late.

I’m sure he’ll always have a way to make money. The problem with people like Ryan is they’re not content on just making money, his face has to be everywhere. He’s not going to be content for his image to take a hit. If he was, please explain that absolutely cringe staged publicity stunt where some poor schlub who works for someone important had to get his son and his friends to make a bunch of Deadpool posters to hand out so that people could stage as if they were waiting for an autograph from Ryan Reynolds. Yes, an autograph in 2025. I’m sure his team set that up to make him feel better and it is truly pathetic so please do not tell me that this does not matter to them.

Blake really wanted her hair products to succeed. Now we all know it would’ve flopped regardless of this scandal, but she obviously doesn’t think it would.

If Instagram followers didn’t matter to her, her team wouldn’t have been purchasing bots left and right when she started dropping her follower account.

It may not matter to you and I, but it matters very much to them. Trying to argue that it only matters to a few Reddit posters is ridiculous. Their image is taking a huge hit.

+1 there would be no lawsuit if it didn’t matter to them. They’re literally suing Jed Wallace for an untraceable online smear campaign and using evidence like “we’re crushing it on Reddit” to support their claims. So Reddit may not matter to pp (though that’s unlikely given they took the time to pull analytics lol) but it matters to Blake and Ryan.

It's not just some small niche sub-reddit, it's lip stick alley, it's tiktok, it's twitter, it's instagram, it's podcasts, it's youtube, it's everything. The public at large is now hip to these two schemers.
