Look, a bunch of weirdos on Reddit were very upset about this, but she went to the party, she accepted an award, she made a speech, and people clapped. People didn’t throw paint at her or line up to protest afaik. The public at large, beyond your hyped up corner of Reddit where people like crystal ball or whatever are hoping to make some profit from their hate posts, seems to be fine. Sorry you want more of a crucifixion but that does seem to be what happened, and it seems to be driving you guys crazy. |
Because you guys keep lying that Baldoni doesn’t have a problematic history, when he really does. I guess you are just trying to make the thread longer by lying, when you know someone will correct you. Sorry not sorry. |
There is no “crucifixion” because she’s a D list joke married to an aging B list actor. I’m sure they’re fine in their bubbles full of phonies and yes-men, but the real world is just laughing at them. Their careers are over. |
lol, okay. *backs away slowly* |
I think it's unreasonable to expect Livley to "keep a low profile" because she's actually promoting a movie right now. She's actually done far less press than would normally be expected for Another Simple Favor, likely because of the lawsuit and the fervor over it. But she's contractually obligated to promote it and it's in her best interest to do so. Ryan is also promoting multiple projects, including Wrexham which is probably gearing up for the Emmys now.
So she has a movie that is just coming out, he has a TV program that is making an Emmys bid, and all they'd done recently is her movie premiere (she attended the SXSW screening without him), the SNL 50th which she didn't even speak at and barely participated in, and the Time 100 gala. She also did that donut shop stunt which was so minor, and they've posted to social media a few times. I don't think they've done any interviews at all, and the Another Simple Favor cast doesn't appear to have done a junket which is unusual. Usually a couple with these sorts of projects coming out would be doing a full court press and what they are doing is pretty minor. Baldoni can go hang out in Hawaii with his kids because he has no current projects. It will be interesting to see if he attends the Eleanor the Great premiere in May -- Scarlett Johansson's directorial debut that Wayfarer produced. I think normally he would attend, though were it not for all this drama probably no one would care either way as he's just a producer, not acting or directing. But it would be normal for him to attend. Anyway, I think criticizing Lively for doing contractually obligated promotion for a movie she made before all this happened is silly. And she and Ryan have done a couple minor public appearances in addition, I'm sure largely to try and counter the negative PR they are getting from the lawsuit, but way less than they'd normally be doing for ASF and Wrexham combined. Baldoni is not "laying low" so much as he currently has nowhere to be, but we'll see if that changes as Wayfarer's film slate moves forward. |
This is just not true. This is absolutely affecting future work opportunities for them and really hurting their careers. Maybe it will pass, but neither of them is getting any younger so this is sort of a critical time. She just launched her hairline and her drink businesses were not that old, expect to see them both crumble within the year if not sooner. She just came off the biggest movie success of her entire career, and that is really saying something considering she has been in some true bombs. Maybe this will help the success of her a simple favor sequel on streaming, but she has no other projects lined up. This would have been prime time to get big bucks for her next role, or maybe transition to directing and producing which is what she clearly wanted to do. We are not seeing any of that happening. She was also lobbying hard to produce Taylor’s directorial debut. Now there are rumors Scarlett may be doing it - ouch. You can act like it’s just a few weirdos, but she’s lost millions of insta followers and that really hurts someone who depends on that for their brand. Not to mention, I’m sorry, but even if you were worth $400 million, this much extra in PR crisis communications and legal fees has got to hurt. |
Seems more like you feel the need to lash out whenever yet another Ryan or Blake Story comes out. Her best friends may not believe her but at least Blake has you. Hopelessly devoted |
Wait, what project is this? |
|
I haven't heard this. I think OP mixed up Scarlett and Reese Witherspoon. https://www.sheknows.com/entertainment/articles/3082384/taylor-swift-hollywood-debut-producers/ I don't know how legit She Knows is, but it's under the She Media umbrella (which seems to have some legitimate ventures) and She Media is itself under Penske, so I don't get the feeling they completely make shit up. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SHE_Media |
Actually, it looks like sheknows took the news from lifeandstyle, my bad. |
Yes, sorry I mixed up Reece and Scarlet. It’s that one. |
Look, I know it is sometimes difficult for you guys to accept reality given all the Baldoni hype social media is feeding you, but let me try. Just for a little perspective, re Reddit: The It Ends With Lawsuits sub, which now has no moderation and is ostensibly neutral although it has more pro-Baldoni members than pro-Lively, has 16K members. 20 of them are online right now (that is, 20 people, not 20 thousand, lol.) The pro-Justin sub (TeamJustinBaldoni) has 7K members, and 20 of them are online rn. The pro-Lively sub (BaldoniFiles) has 4.5K members, and 7 of them are online rn. I'm sure there are other subs and other media etc, but your hatred of Lively does not seem to represent the feelings of a large portion of the population. Most people are getting on with their lives. This is very niche. The MTDs actually may take months to resolve so interest may drop off even more. I don't know if you will be able to find enough weird youtube and tiktok content to post here to keep people interested before those decisions come out. Meanwhile, Deadpool v. Wolverine made $1.3 billion dollars worldwide. This was the last movie released by the guy you say is an aging B list actor whose career is over. He was credited as an actor, a co-writer, and a PGA producer of that movie. Attempts to get men to hate Ryan Reynolds by getting Joe Rogan to talk about IEWU basically failed — I read somewhere that this Joe Rogan podcast in March was one of the lowest rated Rogan podcasts in years but I’m not sure where. I am pretty sure Reynolds’s announced another Deadpool ensemble project within the last week; he seems to be doing okay, and we’ll see how Another Simple Favor does. This is a niche issue for several thousand women who are into celebrity news and gossip, and some but not all fans of Colleen Hoover's novels. I mean, carry forth with your army of a whole 20 people online right now conducting a hate campaign on behalf of your fearless leader Bryan Freedman, but maybe stop talking about this like everybody cares. Most do not, and acting like everyone is as caught up in the hate machine as you are is just odd. |
the irony in this long post about how no one cares lol |
