What’s easy, filling, and low calorie?

When I’m in the first trimester, I get terrible nausea whenever my stomach is empty. In previous pregnancies I’ve just eaten a lot of food to avoid this, which sets me up to gain a lot more weight than I need to. I probably want another kid, and I’m trying to brainstorm stuff I can keep on hand or easily buy to avoid going for breakfast sandwiches, burritos, or fast food cheeseburgers (my favorite first trimester things in the past) without gaining 15 lbs the first three months!

Hardboiled eggs. If you like deviled eggs it doesn't have to involve a major production of breaking out the food processor and pastry bags. Just put the yolk in a small bowl with some mayo and a little pickle relish. Use a fork to mash up the yolk and stir well. Spoon into the egg.

Costco had the remade sous vide egg bites.

Make mini quiches on the weekend and just store in the fridge.

I love eggs and I couldn't be anywhere near an egg in my first trimester!

Did you feel like you needed the bigger meals or could you graze? I had to eat something small every couple of hours or the nausea would take over. My go tos were trail mix, Kind bars, apples or crackers with peanut butter, bananas, oranges, watermelon, and string cheese (and those little Hawaiian rolls with slices of cheese if I was really not feeling well). Not the most gourmet options out there, but they kept me semi-functioning!

Diclegis and some grace that you are doing what you need to do to get through.

But there is a lot of wiggle room between "low calorie" and cheeseburgers.

I drank a lot of V8 when I was pregnant, and it helped get rid of my nausea. There was probably some kind of vitamin that I was missing that I got from it.

I don’t like anything sweet in the morning, so when I’m in top of things I make a “muffin” of ground chicken, oats, broccoli, egg whites with desired spices. You can prob look up a recipe online. Savory and filling

Smoothies. Just add milk to frozen berries, blend.

Soup. Nice way to get some veggies, warm, comforting, savory, filling.

This one was crazy easy and better than I expected, but really, so many good options

Chicken, oats, eggs, and broccoli? Seriously? That sounds disgusting. I would love for you to prove me wrong and share your exact cooking instructions and "desired spices" so I can try it, because although it sounds gross, it would be healthy.
