Succession - season 2

Much better than I was expecting. The last episode of season 1 was so ridiculous and lazy writing, that I was worried the show had jumped the shark.

This season is Greg!

I love this season! I think it’s a lot funnier this season. The boat on the floor episode was crazy!

I’ve watched every one but I don’t remember a boat on a floor?

I really like this show; the patriarch is such a mega arsehole puppet master, but the kids are too addicted to their wealthy lifestyle to try to break away. I like that there really are no good characters - everyone is flawed. I'm really hoping it stays on for a while, and we'll see a corrupted Cousin Greg rise up to take over everything.

I looooove this show. Tom is perfect...he does not possess a single redeeming quality.
They need to bring back Rob Yang.

That was such a psychologically intense episode. Really incredible.

And yes, there are no redeeming people in this show. Everyone is an anti-hero with an agenda.

OMG, the Boar on the Floor was so disturbing to watch. I think if there's anyone who comes slightly close to being redeemable it's Marcia. At least she figures out how to convey to Logan what a shit he is.

She's the one with the most secrets. My favourite character is Greg!

This is my favorite show and I love all the one-liners. The characters are deliciously awful.

Marcia is angling for something, but I can’t figure out what her goals are. She’s definitely the most mysterious character on the show. The show has not gone into her background all that much, aside from the fact that she moved to Paris as a young woman, married a middle eastern businessman, and has a son Amir (who she is trying to ingratiate into the Roy family).

I really hope her character develops more. It feels like a honey pot scenario, where she’s pumping Logan Roy for info.

I could've sworn I read an interview with the actress who plays Marcia where she says that there is going to be more development of her character. I don't read her's as a honey pot scenario. I feel like it's more that she didn't know who Logan was, and he swept her off her feet before she could realize what a crazy maelstrom he was, or what shitty kids he had.

I have now use the phrase "boar on the floor" for a number of reasons
