Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell complained about the nickname “Moscow Mitch” during a radio interview, calling it “modern day McCarthyism.” On The Hugh Hewitt Show show Tuesday, the Kentucky Republican said it was “unbelievable for a Cold Warrior like me who spent a career standing up to the Russians to be given a moniker like that.” McConnell said he “can laugh about things like the Grim Reaper, but calling me Moscow Mitch is over the top.”

Hmmm, well, if he wants to return the millions of dollars he has taken from Oligarchs, and wants to restore the sanctions on Oligarchs and reject the aluminum plant designated by Oleg Deripaska in Kentucky, that would be a start, but securing elections against Russian (and other) interference would also help.

It’s even more than that - I think he allowed Russia to attack us, with his blessing, I mean. If the GOP didn't cheat, they wouldn’t win.
