Who here still watches Sister Wives?

He wants to play hard ball with the adults so be it, but to intentionally ice out your younger ones because you are mad at their mom. He is truly a POS. To top it off he keeps claiming to be such a wonderful father.

Also, does Meri never go see Leon? Why would she spend Christmas away from them to be on the show?

I don't understand about Meri/Leon either. They are her only child--why spend the holidays with Robyn and Kody? Maybe it was her last-ditch effort with Kody.

I wonder how Kody's relationships are with his older kids today. They cannot possibly watch these episodes and not be completely pissed at him.

Some of the sister wives meetings have been held outside at Robyn’s house. You would think shopper Robyn would hire a landscaper to plant some shrubs. The house and it’s surroundings looks unkempt.

Leon was VERY controlled when they were younger. Imagine feeling you're a man, but the only example of a man in your life is Kody. That has to be a major mind f*ck. They need space to figure it all out, and probably process a lot of childhood trauma. They also might not want to be filmed or mentioned in the show. We don't know if Meri see's them or not. Hopefully she does.

Meri also needs to find a backbone and get the F out of there. I know she finally does, but she needs some serious self love and find some confidence. She's always identified as "Kody's First Wife". She has to find herself.

Robyn and Kody deserve each other. Kody is just a major a$$. Seriously what special kind of jerk doesn't contact their kids on Christmas. He needs to be an adult and get over himself. He's like a toddler or tween having a tantrum. Like "Janelle hurt my feels so I'm not going to talk to her or anyone who associates with her". Good grief.

Seriously, Kody is a POS. “I’m going to focus on my “loyal” wife and her children….” To not make any gesture to any of the other kids, just because he’s mad at their mom’s is a d@ck move.

And Robin… “ I don’t know why things are like this” - take a look in the mirror! Does she really not understand why the other wives would not support her, her kids and Kody for nothing in return. And truly nothing in return financially, emotionally, physically, anything.

I don't expect Leon to be filmed for the show, even though they are forthcoming about themselves on their own social media. However. I do expect their mother, meri, to go see them off camera for the holidays. Why would Meri spend the holidays with Robin and Cody instead?

What really confuses me (and I didn't watch the last few seasons) is ... I know that Robyn had a nanny and there was a whole thing about "What does the nanny do?"

If you were Christine, and had been watching alllll of those kids (and I know eldest child Logan was a huge help as well, very unfairly IMHO) for all of those years while the other adults were working, wouldn't you be pissed that Robyn apparently can't handle her own kids AND not working?

Did Christine complain about this? Do Kody and Robyn not get how stupidly obvious the unfairness of this is?

Plenty of people with kids grown and out of the house don't travel for every holiday. Meri lives in Flagstaff and so going to Robyn and Kody's is just going somewhere locally.

Meri seems to have a pretty good relationship with Leon on instagram and I think it is very clear that Leon, like Logan and Aspyn before him, has decided to not be a part of the show.

I think there are also clearly filming requirements. Like I don't think Meri is going to sit on Robyn's patio in the cold weather for an awkward heart to heart in front of the cameras because she just genuinely wanted to talk to Robyn. It is a filming schedule. Meri and Robyn don't have cameras in their homes, so they film for 'the other side' occasionally. It is totally possible that Meri had some contractual obligation to film the holidays and so got together with Leon separately.

Meri is kind of an idiot for sticking around and being so confused as to why the other two left. You can see that Kody thinks its fine to treat her like complete garbage. Why didn't Meri's BIL Nathan stick up for her at all? In his anger, Kody compares Christine and Janelle to his "loyal wife" Robyn. He doesn't even acknowledge that Meri is there! And yet she stays. (I know she does leave eventually thank god.)

I am sure Kody knows he was not perfect with Meri and he doesn't see that he's a hypocrite moron for not trying to repair his relationship with her? Or she just deserves a life of loneliness because she got catfished?

At least Christine and Janelle appear to have continued working with TLC to get some money going forward. I don't even know if Meri is savvy enough to arrange that or has put herself in a good position to do so.

I have a theory that Kody intentionally made things bad for Christine, Janelle, and Meri so that they would leave HIM - because, in his mind, he couldn’t initiate divorce and keep his position in their church. So, he put the burden on them to leave, while he made it clear that he favored Robyn and wanted to have a romantic relationship with only her.

I think Meri is sticking around to be the thorn in his side and remind him of his responsibilities. She won’t give him what he really wants, which is freedom to live a traditional marriage with Robyn. I think Meri is the only one who is really committed to plural marriage as a religious vow.

I see Janelle that way, but not Meri. Meri has been unhappy and wanted out for a long time. She was planning to leave with "Sam" but when that situation got exposed for what it was, she crawled back basically begging for forgiveness because she didn't have the confidence to leave on her own.

I agree about Kody though. After Robyn joined the family, he checked out on the other wives one by one starting with Meri. I threw up in my mouth a little in the last episode when Kody talked how hard it was to have to tone down his sexual/romantic tension with Robyn in front of Meri.

Kody strikes me as the kind of person who always has to be mad at someone. At some point, I think he'll probably turn on Robyn too because eventually she'll do something to disobey or displease him.

Meri's the only one who might not even need TLC. She is high up at LLR and has a bed and breakfast that she owns in total

Oh I didn't realize. If she's doing well financially, then that's great.
