From a fetish or kink hypothesis based off where it’s speculated CB/JR met. Could AP/BB restrain CB until JR arrived and that’s when things unfold.
AP comes home, fires upon JR. BB enters home, follows through with CB and injuries himself during this or earlier when restraining CB.
First botched 911 call while realizing a need to sort stories and stage the scene, then the final call.

Agree with almost all of this. I also think CB was incapacitated, tied up or drugged or maybe both, it would make it all easier for the killers.

I think the first call was hung up when they realized CB was still alive.

I think BB wanted to claim he was the shooter because his service weapon was used. Obviously, if LE is certain he was not there, then he left it for AP. And forensics could tie his weapon to murder of JR. Wondering when/where he taught her to shoot well enough? JR was fit and into martial arts, he had to be killed quickly to be controlled. If the affair started when she extended in October, how quickly did they start planning to murder CB? Absolutely chilling.

I would not be surprised if BB injured himself to add "cred" to their tall tales.

I don't totally get why he could not have arrived and shot JR in the telling, matching presence with story. Why did he wait to arrive until after shooting? Same story of AP seeing him stab, shooting, could have been true for him. Why did he delay? Was it the plan or was he getting cold feet? It was also a risk if the AP could not kill/control JR quickly, better to have BB present for backup, yet, he was not.

This is what fundamentally doesn't make sense to me. If he took the fall because she used his weapon, why would they plan it that way? They wouldn't. They'd have him do the shooting (one less lie and less likely to go wrong given his fire arms experience)... more than that, they'd *definitely* have him be home. It doesn't make any sense the way it unfolded. Something went badly wrong and we just don't have enough info to know what that was yet.

BB had to be out of the of the house for the home invasion story, I believe the plan was for BB to arrive home after being alerted by the AP that a suspicious man (Joe) was in his house with his wife. Then he would return to the house and walk in on Joe stabbing his wife and shoot him.

AP had access to a gun in case something went haywire before BB arrived, which is apparently what happened. Ma

Was going to add, maybe it took longer than BB anticipated to get home or Joe arrived earlier than expected and the shit hit the fan.

I wonder why he let her take all these photos, seems dumb to have all that created.

Maybe this.

I wonder if Ring cameras captured the shots or if there was a silencer or something?

Hmmm...so BB would kill both and tell it the way he did to support the home invasion story. Makes sense. So the 911 call was the practiced story, not on the fly. Gap was probably realizing CB alive. Wonder why they didn't try to stage home invasion better? Once Joe's people told LE day of that he was invited would have been debunked anyway.

Also wonder why no neighbors called 911 hearing shots? Houses are decently close together.

Would've been easier for AP to stab CB if CB was still asleep (given time of day this occurred). Then call JR over .....

With that logic if JR was home in Springfield, CB wouldn’t survived his 40 minute commute to Herndon at 7am

(sigh) point is that APwouldn't have had to struggle as much w/CB if CB were asleep immediately prior to stabbing.

Yes, your point has been acknowledged, but neglects logics or is framed very poorly.

Based on his narcissistic personality he may perceive FBI agent sounds cooler than IRS agent. I wouldn’t put it past someone that cheated on his wife with the au pair to want the neighbors and others to think he was FBI.

I already called the tipline about this, so LE can do what they will with that information.

I know a lot about his past affair, and whatever he had with the au pair is nothing surprising at all.

Anything else you’re willing to share with the rest of us? Did this take place in VA or NY?

Re: day of, Brendan let Joe in, Christine let Joe in (less likely since I think she was incapacitated otherwise would have helped Joe, overpowered AP, something), or door was left unlocked for him. Whole "scene" was planned and staged by BB. Maybe using CB's phone.
