Love your Jeep?

Dh and I really want a fun 4 door (we have 2 in car seats) stick shift and we’ve been thinking about a Jeep rubicon Or Sahara. We want something fun to drive as our second car and we also do a lot of hauling/ off roading. Our #1 is getting a fun manual car. These are really popular in the DC area. Anyone love or hate theirs?

Love ours. We have the 75th anniversary edition so it’s a cross between a wrangler and Rubicon. We also have a 20 year old 2 door rag top wrangler. Both are stick shift. We love to drive onto the beach and go camping and jeeping in the mountains.

Yes, when it’s not in the shop

We are going to buy one soon. People either love or hate them. Get a 2020 as the new JL's have some bugs in them - it was a new model for 2018/19. If you off road get a Rubicon in less you can upgrade it yourself.

I've had Jeeps my whole life and have always loved them-everything from a Sahara, Liberty and Grand Cherokee...now I love my Explorer and I'll never go back to Jeep.

we loved ours but I'd never drive my kids in one while they are in car seats - and least not often

The explorer is not comparable nor fun to drive.

Not the PP but the Wrangler is garbage at everything but serious off-roading. 95/100 Wrangler owners do not even come close to using the off-road capability of the Wrangler. They would be better-suited in literally every respect with a Grand Cherokee. The GC can get to the Old Rag trailhead just as easily as a Wrangler. But if you've all you've ever eaten at is the Cheesecake Factory I guess that's your high watermark for fine dining.

No. Hated it. Fortunately it was just a rental for a week in Nantucket (new model two summers ago).

Grand Cherokee is not particularly fun to drive. I drove them all and got a wrangler. Id you don't like them, don't get it, but not all of us are looking for luxury. I want fun, not luxury.

Big difference between a basic sport which is the rental and a higher model. We rented one on vacation and that is the reason we bought it.

The Wrangler is probably fun for you because it lets you pretend for a moment that you're a sorority girl and not a boring middle-aged woman who lives in the burbs. From a driving experience standpoint it doesn't hold a candle to something actually fun like a 911 or BMW M car.

Whatever dude. NP here but we have both - BMW M and a Jeep Wrangler Sahara. Love my Jeep infinitely more. Faster is not always better. And given that I was never a sorority girl not sure how that works. Even if it did -I'd rather act too young then act my age
