Love your Jeep?

Jeep is not a good sign. Neither is Tinder.

This made me LOL

There is a woman like this in my office too: Jeep, big tires, Tinder, lots of terrible life decisions. You do you, boo.

Not at all but you obviously aren't disputing the stereotype. Here's a quote from an old thread on the subject:

"Range Rovers:

Always ALWAYS a new money prick, dick, douche who thinks he's smarter and more successful than he really is...AND/OR....cold, self-involved, self-centered, unaware, SAHM who can't wait to drop her kids off at daycare so that she can go to her Soul Cycle class followed by a manicure and Starbucks run which always makes her at least 10 minutes late to pick her kids up from daycare... and then she bitches at them for charging late fees.

That about sums it up."

Enjoy your Friday!

The gas tanks explode and they pay off the people injured or killed instead of recalls. I will never buy a Jeep.

I can’t tell if this thread is about ALL Jeeps, or Wranglers in particular.

I think the rest of the Jeep lineup is pretty lame, but the Wrangler is the exception. It’s really the only Jeep that matters.

I love Wranglers. I’ve owned three of them, plus I learned to drive on a CJ.

I think the current models are a little too fancy though.

She sounds hot. And fun.

Not like you.

OP here. I'm ONLY interested in the Wrangler lineup. We're only looking at convertible, stick shifts. I'm not sure why everyone is arguing about other SUVs. None of the others offer what we're looking for. Barely any SUVs even have a manual/stick shift.

We just purchased a second one and we can buy anything. We’ve owned range rovers, Mercedes. Etc and for sone reason the simple nature of this car is so much fun we both always migrate towards the Jeep in the morning. Problem solved, we purchased a second one. Love them both!

Rent one for a couple of weeks and give it your own personal test drive. It really is the only way to know.

Love mine. And loved the one I had before the one I have and am looking forward to having another one once I pass mine on to my kid.

Yeah, it’s pretty much the only game in town for what you’re looking for. There literally is nothing else in it's class.

Do yourself a favor as a Wrangler owner. Go on a Jeep Jamboree trailride weekend. They have a dozen or so within 4-5 hours of DC every summer. Or join up with a local off-road club, and go off-roading. You’ll really get an appreciation for what the vehicle is capable of. Because if you own a Wrangler and never take it off-road, you really ARE missing the very best part of the vehicle. It’s like owning a Ferrari and never driving it spiritedly. You just miss out on what it was designed to do.

I’ve been on trails in my Jeep that were so difficult that other vehicles like Range Rovers couldn’t have even made it up the access road to get to the start of the trail. It will really astonish you the first time you see what it’s capable of.

Have fun.

We want something fun to drive as our second car and we also do a lot of hauling/ off roading. Our #1 is getting a fun manual car. These are really popular in the DC area. Anyone love or hate theirs?

A woman at our tennis club got one as an "ohhh, look, a shiny thing... please iignore my mistress" gift from her husband.

She seems to think it has transformed her late 50's body into a 20 something body and arrives at the club in tennis skirts (she does NOT play tennis) and low cut tops that she seems to think distract men from seeing her bat wing arms.

Not a good look.

Please don't buy into the whole "my vehicle changes me" thing.

The problem with this, we considered it (we rented one on vacation) is that they only rent out sports. I would get a rubicon or Sahara. We just got one and love it. It was far more than I ever though I'd spend but worth it.
