I'm willing to bet that the family knew that he was having mental health issues but did not attempt to get him any help. Maybe they shunned him because he was gay or whatever. They also supplied him with guns and taught him to shoot those guns with accuracy. They are partially responsible IMO. I don't think someone with mental health issues should be put to death.

He is a lot like many of the liberals on this site. Bought into the crazy liberal values and rejected his family.

what liberal values does he show? there is no evidence that he rejected his family.

According to testimony from his mother, he did.

But it says something about the US that we are putting flags at half staff for somebody who spent his life hatefully maligning so many Americans.

A) it was an assassinated political speaker and flags were half mast for 9/11 already.

b) He didn’t “hatefully malign” anyone.

That’s your opinion and perception of excepts or his talks. Most people did not interpret them that way, and saw the main points, which resonate with most people.
Charlie Kirk also did not seek to “hatefully malign” topics of which he spoke of or listeners.
Perhaps biased or brainwashed or mentally disordered people always interpret things incorrectly. And shouldn’t go grab a gun or celebrate a murder online or in writing.

Side points or jabs or flippant “DP fo Biden” and then resume main topic talk were just that.

And Biden sux, face it. Read all about it anywhere. I loathe that taxpayers paid for his entire extended family to live for the past 35 years and next 10-20. Yuck.

His fans didn’t interpret his remarks as hatefully malignant because his main points resonated with his fans.

We have people here ho truly seem to believe that the FBI is fabricating evidence or that Kirk’s bodyguards were somehow complicit in his killing.
You people have lost your damn minds.

Well, in an absence of adequate leadership, stuff like this happens.

Actually in the absence of critical thinking and living in reality- this is what happens. It is what I have come to expect on this site.

+1000

Since when did a President have to tell you or lead you to common sense?

In the past in times of national turmoil, and this surely is one, the President has spoken from the Oval Office to corral a rational national consensus. It's part of the work of leadership which Trump has abandoned.

Now, maybe you don't think this role should have been necessary, but I think it helped and that not having a calm, cool and collected President (which all of the Presidents in my lifetime were until Trump) hurts us.

Interesting. So the “leftist ideology” Robinson was into was pro gay and pro trans rights, and he felt that Charlie Kirk spread hate because Kirk was not pro gay or pro trans, and the reason why Kirk was not pro gay and pro trans is because his religious beliefs were that being gay or trans is in conflict with “God’s perfect law.” Sounds like the motive was more religion-based than politics-based.

NP, I never heard of him before the killing so am not his fan, but I see his main points.

I also don’t see him telling anyone to hate anyone. He actually most often demonstrated the opposite, “I see you aren’t XYZ, I am”.

Yeah, I thought that, for most Republicans, gay rights was a non-issue? So you can't be Republican and pro-Gay-rights? Maybe in Utah that's what counts as a "far-left agenda" but in many other places (like the White House, I've heard) it's a view that MAGA Republicans can also hold.

What happened to co-exist?

Why all the false anti or pro rhetoric?

I don’t think Kirk was ANTI-gay or ANTI-trans.

He just wasn’t PRO it or pushing it, and could explain why. bFD.

Sad that’s she’s selling out her son. IDK why her opinion of the situation matter more than his. I would never comment on my son if he was MAGA.

He said Biden should be imprisoned amd executed, but, yeah, sure, that's not hateful or anything.

He told a conservative gay college student that he would basically “don’t ask, don’t tell” and that he didn’t agree with his “lifestyle.”

DH is convinced that anyone who says being gay is a “lifestyle” or “choice” is actually gay because they had to choose to not be.

A huge percentage of the most anti-gay politicians are gay themselves, because no one else really thinks about it as much as they do. Staying in the closet is hard work.

Gay or not, the shooter was a maga. He was from a maga family, lived in a maga neighborhood. Grew up in a maga state. Went to a maga school.

He. Is. A. MAGA.

Period.

Let’s not lose sight of this fact. A maga shot at Kirk. This is the only not thing that really matters at the end of the day.

Clearly he wasn’t. Every single piece of evidence is that he hasn’t. Sure- if you don’t believe any of the investigation and think you “know” better go ahead

Healthcare meaning what? Medically changing one’s gender?
