| Is this some sort of coy fetish? Why do so many parents do this? It’s obviously deliberate. So gross and creepy. |
| I have never posted a ties picture but if you think that’s “gross and creepy” you’re the one with a problem. |
| I agree with you OP! |
Do you have an issue with non-parents doing this? |
| So gross. I hate those pics, too. |
| Unoriginal |
This is a parent forum and all of my social media friends are other parents on family holidays at moment. The perpetrators will use the backdrop of a family photo but half the picture will be the mom or dad’s toes or feet. Or they’ll upload five photos at once and one picture will be their feet in sand or feet in shallow water or something along those lines. It’s disgusting. What motivates seemingly normal people to deliberately do this? |
I suspect that most photographable things parents do on vacation, non-parents also do, just sans kids. |
| Non-parents def do this too. First time I noticed people doing this on social media was over a decade ago, before anyone I knew had kids. |
| People like to show off their pedicures. I find nothing creepy with this. Sounds like you have a foot fetish or an irrational fear of feet, which is bizarre. Highly recommend therapy. |
| I feel like this has always been a thing. |
| I usually post pics of my kids. Once every year or so I may post a pic of my feet with view of beach while I’m on a beach chair. I’m sorry if this offends you so much. |
| It’s so gross. I really wish all people (parents or not) would stop this. |
What is to show off about a pedicure? |
| What is the context of the feet pictured? I haven’t noticed. |
