I am pretty sure I have done this (maybe in my 20s so you might not hate it as much?) but I really don't understand the disgust. Why not just keep scrolling?

If there's one thing I hate, it's selfies of yourself all the time. Why would anyone want to see you just going about your day every day? But feet, you can imagine yourself there in their (lack of) shoes.

Yes, this is the most popular way perpetrators do it. What exactly motivates you to purposely put your foot/toes/feet in the photo? There’s some abnormal kink that motivates people to do this. It’s not accidental.

Pp here. Uh yeah it is nothing sexual. It is to show the view we have. I always have a perfect pedicure, not that it matters.

I have a friend who will video a 360 of the view. She takes selfies. She takes pictures of her feet in the water. She also takes pictures of herself in mirrors.

I take pictures of my kids or it is a family shot. She has to get more creative since she is childless.

This is a parent forum and all of my social media friends are other parents on family holidays at moment. The perpetrators will use the backdrop of a family photo but half the picture will be the mom or dad’s toes or feet. Or they’ll upload five photos at once and one picture will be their feet in sand or feet in shallow water or something along those lines. It’s disgusting. What motivates seemingly normal people to deliberately do this?

The answer is so simple! Because the parents are chubby, out of shape or fat and don't want to have their bodies or faces in the pix. Tah dah! mystery solved.

They are doing this Instead of posting full body shots at the beach. I don't think it has as much to do with feet, as it does posting a pic that doesn't show their bathing suit. Which I appreciate, I don't want to see that.

Like laying on a beach chair with a view of the ocean. The person's feet at the end of the chair are pictured with the ocean in the background. They could just as easily just post a pick of the ocean/beach minus the feet.

I don't get the PP who said "showing off a pedicure." I mean, most people who can afford nice summer travel can afford a pedicure.
