Agreed. It's a completely empty statement. How can he think people he knows nothing about are amazing and how is his thinking so supposed to be comforting to them. Is there really a lonely person out there who finds this comforting?

I 100% do not believe that Jen and Sydney sat on the couch on Christmas and watched the news while holding each other and crying.

I do believe she may have cried over the Chiefs losing to the Raiders on Christmas Day, though.

I'm a male lurker, too. I came here after spending years in a failed church plant where a significant number of the women were Hatmaker fans. Finding people who see through the emptiness of what she's selling felt like a relief.
