Dp but I also think it's pretty. it's very thick and has great body to it, and she clearly spends a lot of time getting it highlighted rather than the garish yellow blond most Trumpettes have.

I'm skeptical it's all real. But I am also tired of seeing these women, well into menopause, with hair past their boobs and approaching the waistline, even if it is real. In older women it has the effect of dragging the face down.

No, I'm one of the ones who thinks it's pretty and no shot that it's 100% real lol. But I'm not convinced Kate Middleton's hair is all real either.

My daughter has hair like that — long, thick, natural blond — and it’s beautiful. I told her never to highlight it, even if it starts to darken, because that will ruin its texture. She washes it about 1 x week and does not use heat on it, which is probably why it’s so healthy.

Yeah but your daughter is not 50+. It's rare for an older woman who regularly dyes and does god knows what else to her hair to have that much of it. I'm not saying it doesn't happen (because I'm sure a handful of people will say - "my hair looks like that!" - but it is rare.

Also I stand by my earlier assessment that DCUM loves this hair because it is the same terrible dye job they have.

DP. I have very dark, frizzy hair that is the polar opposite of her hair and I think hers is stunning. I would love to have hair that looks like that. Maybe you could just accept that you don't speak for everyone?

Never said I did! We're all allowed to have our own opinions. I am sure your hair looks much better than you think it does - if not, consider that your hair is not frizzy, it's curly, and you need to find a stylist to show you how to work with your natural curls.

I do not understand why women do this to themselves. Is this mental illness, where she has a distorted view of self and thinks these interventions are improvements?

My guess is that men don’t actually find this type of face attractive, but they are attracted to the type of women who would do this to herself - ie place huge value on appearance, pleasing men, staying “youthful”.

The men “tolerate” the messed up face because besides that, these are their “dream” women.

Blue gingham needed to leave the hat, coat and shoes at home. She also desperately needs to chop that hair. Long hair and long face is not a good combo. I feel a little bad for her.
