I was just coming to post this. He isn't doing Trump any favors here. He is illustrating how irregular the Guiliani boys were; and what efforts the US made to bring Ukraine into 21st centruy democratic processes.

He seems to be sowing doubt about the level of corruption. Not successfully mind you. What else can he do?

He sounds stupid

Is Castor trying to take down Giuliani with Parnas and Fruman to protect Trump?

One of the first rules of cross-examination is to not ask questions where you don't know the answers. Caster clearly doesn't know this rule.

I don’t know where this is going, and am waiting for the line of questioning to take an evil turn, but at least the discussion is substantive. It’s making Yavonavitch look knowledgeable and capable.

Castor just came over to Intelligence from Oversight when Jordan got put on the committee. It’s possible there’s a ton of stuff he doesn’t know about these issues.

Good job Castor, let's tie Manafort to Russia and Trump as he sits in prison.

Castor admits that Leshchenko published information, which actually undercuts the whole narrative about this.

The ambassador notes that a journalist publishing information does not amount to targeting Trump. The issue is the crimes Manafort committed. Where is Castor going with this?

Yovanovitch: Secretary Pompeo was aware of the smear campaign back in 2018

Castor: Oh. Next...

It is so perplexing that the Republicans think it's a good argument that Trump was entitled to commit a crime because a Ukrainian unveiled the crimes that his campaign manager went to jail for.

castor is playing a TV lawyer and is not really lawyering as a profession.

Right? “Oh, our cult leader was displeased and he should be allowed to do whatever he wants.”

Was Castor arguing, that investigating corruption in Ukraine by their journalists is worked against president Trump and hence he is allowed to retaliate?
