They look pretty decent to me.

My son is vys 20o8. U9 travel boys Coaching seems pretty good. Kids seem happy We have no complaints other than constant field changes. |
kids will seem happy even if not developing...
but 95% of parents don't care because they can't tell what development or good training looks like and kids are just happy to be around their friends. |
Does anyone know how the U9 programs (boys and girls) are shaping up this year?
Do you think the teams were divided up correctly? |
Careful. You might open up Pandora's box. On any club, there are always parents that not happy with the rosters. |
And in the majority of clubs there areabunch of dipshits picking the rosters. |
My son is u9. The Red team seems to have some emerging/ decent talent. They are kicking the ball well and doing some work at foot skills. The lower levels are playing and passing. Fair. The lower 2 teams seem on par with decent rec players. My son is the lower level. He has definitely improved his game some. There was a lot of issue filling up the bottom team. 5 new players joined I think. Overall there were not subs on the bottom 2 teams. They moved from odsl to ncsl this spring. |
What was the reason for moving from Odsl to ncsl? Not enough competition or to please the parents. |
Speaking of the younger boys...I saw that our U11 Red Boys team won a championship in the Arlington Tournament over Bethesda-South. Congrats. |
That's right! Pretty huge win! That Bethesda S team is really, really good -- and really, really cocky. |
SMH |
Easy there tiger. That is Bethesda South's second team and that was the middle flight of that tournament. |
VYS' new motto: Our A team is better than your B team! |
Also a 5-4 result means it could have gone the other way as well. |
And a "B" team who has a good number of 07 players. Call it what you want but that is a talented group of kids. I do not have a kid on that team but have seen them play. |
