Holy shit! Any chance it's Javi's baby? I'm lost on the timeline of actual breakup vs. divorce vs. the show. I'm sure she didn't just end it without going back for leftovers a few times.

I should be embarrassed by how surprised I am. I really thought she was more sensible (or at least more driven) than this.

What is wrong with her? Seriously. Talk about lacking insight. Isaac adores her, but I wish Jo could get full custody.

I love how these women claim they have "fertility problems" that will make it either impossible to get pregnant or stay pregnant. You're on a show called "Teen Mom", we know you're not a responsible person no need to lie about an accident.

Remember Maci was told she could never have children, and Bentley was a miracle baby. And then Jayde was a total surprise. And then Maverick was...shut it, Maci, no one believes you.

Yup! So Kail claims she had female issues and probably couldn't have kids. One of her pittbull friends is spilling all of her story on twitter (probably because Kail is under contract). Apparently Kail had at least one, if not two molar pregnancies in the last year. And she had to do several rounds of chemo because of it. Just doesn't add up. If that was true you are not to get pregnant for at least a year after stopping treatment. She clearly makes bad decisions but I find it hard to believe she would intentionally get pregnant after chemo knowing the risks to the baby. And what she was doing chemo at the same time as her plastic surgery recovery?

Does anyone know when Javi actually returned from being deployed? Kail says she's halfway through the pregnancy. During that recent episode when she went to Hawaii, she said to Javi when she returned, "If we get back together..." Just trying to piece together a timeline here!

January 2016 - Javi is deployed.

August 2016 - Javi returns home from deployment.

September 2016 - Kailyln visits Hawaii.

October 2016 - Presumably when Kailyn became pregnant, according to an interview with The Ashley saying she is "halfway" through her pregnancy.

December 2016 - divorce is finalized

February 2017 - Kailyn announces her pregnancy.

I disagree that these people had no chance. I went to law school with some young single parents who had far less than they have. They became famous for being pregnant, so they seem to keep going back to that to keep the momentum going.

Then the people in your law school classes had drive and determination, and probably a lot of intelligence. These people do not. Without those characteristics, which are difficult to cultivate on your own, they had no chance.

so she's due in July? Wow, me too.. how fun that Kail and I can go through our pregnancies together! I can't wait to tweet about it with her nonstop! It's my 3rd kid too, but I'm goofy, because all my kids have the same father... my husband.

Oh my goodness, the story that's coming out is crazy! Kail claims that she got pregnant on purpose with a semi-random guy, because her doctor told her that her fertility was waning at her age (25!?!), and she wanted her kids to be close in age. This is just bananas! Less than a year ago she was telling Javi that she didn't want another kid because of her new career (the close in age siblings thing has been a running theme for her, so that could be true--she didn't want there to be 10+ years between Isaac and a third).

She also claims to have had two ectopic pregnancies and that's why her doctor feared for her fertility. Again, these girls and their obscure reproductive problems that turn out to be amazingly not problems at all.

I wish they could just tell the truth. Jenelle wanted a baby with David, and lied about being pregnant to the producers because she wasn't ready to share. No need to make up that bullshit "I thought I was, but the doc said I wasn't, but then I found out after that I was, but when I talked to MTV I thought I wasn't."

Maci was lax with her birth control because she was committed to Taylor and didn't think having more children would be a problem. They were open to getting pregnant, and they did, and they're happy with the outcome. Though I think she goes with the "I didn't know!" story because of the drinking, but she could still spin that into "I made some bad choices that I regret--don't be like me in that way. I can't believe I risked my unborn child's health. I know better now."

Chelsea's been fairly honest about her baby--she and Cole were planning to get married first, but she went off her BC because again, getting pregnant "early" did not constitute a huge problem. And everyone involved was nothing but thrilled when it happened.

Oh well, these crazy kids! So grateful for my normal life!

They had no reason to develop drive and determination. MTV has enabled them for years (INSTEAD OF cultivating drive and determination, as you say). Someone of average intelligence can certainly graduate from a college, junior college, or trade school (Jenelle and Chelsea managed to).
