I wish they could just tell the truth.  Jenelle wanted a baby with David, and lied about being pregnant to the producers because she wasn't ready to share.  No need to make up that bullshit "I thought I was, but the doc said I wasn't, but then I found out after that I was, but when I talked to MTV I thought I wasn't."

Maci was lax with her birth control because she was committed to Taylor and didn't think having more children would be a problem.  They were open to getting pregnant, and they did, and they're happy with the outcome.  Though I think she goes with the "I didn't know!" story because of the drinking, but she could still spin that into "I made some bad choices that I regret--don't be like me in that way.  I can't believe I risked my unborn child's health.  I know better now."

Chelsea's been fairly honest about her baby--she and Cole were planning to get married first, but she went off her BC because again, getting pregnant "early" did not constitute a huge problem.  And everyone involved was nothing but thrilled when it happened.

Oh well, these crazy kids!  So grateful for my normal life![/quote]
