Don't forget about 2A. This is the result of that as well.

2A is the right to own a gun, not the right to kill people you don’t agree with.

Guns kill.

Lotta things kill people.

Tell me what else an assassin 200 yards away could have used to murder Charlie Kirk.

Yes, I think this goes beyond gun rights. He was silenced. I hope we find out who gave the order.

The GOP is trying to say that only liberals had a problem with Kirk... but he pissed off all kinds of people all the time. And the person who killed him probably didn't have much logic anyway. If he lived, Charlie Kirk was heading for obscurity because his schtick gets old, and politics would move on... killing him put him, and his beliefs, in a permanent place in history. Whatever their beliefs, the person who killed him was nuts.

You know who operates like this?

Trump

At only 31, Charlie Kirk left an imprint far beyond his years. He loved our country, and he inspired a generation of young Americans to engage in civic life and pursue common ground through dialogue, regardless of their views.

This is a profoundly sad day for our nation. Political violence is a betrayal of who we are as Americans. Nothing can, nor ever will, justify it.

They’ve been looking for it for so long I’m inclined to believe they took matters into their own hands. It’s been a very, very bad news week for Trump.

No, but we can't keep up with the posts.

And that's OK Jeff. As a conservative, that you are trying, means everything. Thank you.

Clearly, we need to find out what happened. Probably an online radicalized lone shooter, just like most of the shooters are.

Probably a deer hunter.

Can you wait 48 hours before being a jerk? It’s the kind thing to do when someone dies.

They got the suspect!

The Epstein stuff has been heating up to extreme levels. The disgusting birthday card was just released, further convincing the world (even MAGA) that Trump was deeply entrenched with the Epstein stuff.

Charlie Kirk is a massive MAGA influence. His death has already riled up the right wing sphere to incredible proportions.

They will now turn back to the evil left and forget the Epstein stuff.

To the upper circle of the elites, Charlie was a nobody. It’s absolutely a sacrifice they’d make to protect themselves. The government and/or elites have done far worse to cover up far less.

On one level, this makes some sense. On another, it is a total wack job conspiracy theory.

I don't see this to be a conspiracy that much more extreme than how Trump was shot in the ear.

According to FBI, suspect is in custody.

I said that up thread.. Of course he didn't. He's very partisan and divisive and this is what MAGA supports.

But, somehow, Dems, who also support tighter gun control and help for the mentally ill, are the ones who are evil.

MAGA are truly sick.

He did lower the flag for the MN lawmakers. Why are you lying?

That was the school shooting. The assassinations were in June.

Thank you!!!

Here's Trump's response to the MN Dem senator shooting

https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/trump-call-walz-after-minnesota-shootings-calls-grossly/story?id=122870353

"I think the governor of Minnesota is so whacked out. I'm not calling him," Trump said. "Why would I call him? I could call and say, 'Hi, how you doing?' Uh, the guy doesn't have a clue. He's a mess. I could be nice and call, but why waste time?"

Walz’s team responded later Tuesday to Trump’s comments on Air Force One.

“Gov. Walz wishes that President Trump would be a President for all Americans, but this tragedy isn’t about Trump or Walz. It’s about the Hortman family, the Hoffman family, and the State of Minnesota, and the Governor remains focused on helping all three heal,” said Teddy Tschann, a spokesperson for the Governor.

No, that was his response when asked if he would be calling the governor of MN. His response regarding the shooting was more appropriate and direct:

“‘Such horrific violence will not be tolerated in the United States of America,’ President Trump wrote in a Truth Social post. ‘God Bless the great people of Minnesota, a truly great place!’ he added.”

https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/5350808-trump-lawmakers-react-to-horrific-shooting-of-minnesota-legislators/

But he still didn't fly the flag half staff after the Dem politicians were murdered. But he is for a right wing MAGA talking head. And notice, he did not say anything about the Senators' families or call Walz, the governor, to offer condolences.

Do you not understand why people find what Trump did or did not do then vs now disturbing?

he is the epitome of divisiveness and vindictiveness. He even said so himself.

Probably no accomplices, or they might not have said.
Sounds like it was one guy going right up to him

I won't speak ill of the dead. But it's a bit of stretch to call this talk show guy a hero. It's insulting to real American heroes.

He was a hero in his bravery if nothing else. He gave his life for his beliefs. A Christian, a patriot, apparently a wonderful husband and father and a leader who believed in the best of what Americans can be.

He was a horrible racist and misogynist. Watch some of his videos. He was completely disrespectful to anyone with a different viewpoint.

He was 100% respectful to everyone with different views. He didn’t roll over and placate but he was always respectful at his “prove me wrong tours.”
