Awesome.

Is this the unavoidable result of making DEI hire Tulsi Gabbard the DNI, instead of a competent man?

March 24 - revealed that too US officials discussed war plans through Signal, with emojis, and a journalist was in the chat.

I swear you could come up with something new every day. Then publish it and pass it out lime candy before next election.

"What the F just happened today"

Launched in 2016, for obvious reasons. Wes less relevant for 2020-2024, for obvious reasons

Link?

Did the invite acknowledge that it was Goldberg or was it mistaken identity?

Uh, one, this isn't a thing, and two, if that were possible, then maybe they shouldn't be, you know, using Signal.

It didn't happen in this case, but it's literally a thing, and the NSA literally warned about exactly that thing last month, and the Pentagon said to stop using Signal (which of course was never allowed in the first place for classified information) because of that thing, but the DUI hires don't care.

OK - so if you are responsible, then how will you be held accountable?

High-level officials discussed strike timing and targets, raising serious concerns about using unsecured platforms for classified info. While significant, it was an unintentional lapse. In contrast, Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server involved over 100 classified emails—including Top Secret material—used over years, with allegations of deleted emails and intentional evasion of oversight. Despite being far more severe and systemic, Clinton faced no criminal charges, showing a stark disparity in accountability.

It’s been over 24 hours and that’s the best you can come up with?

When dealing with a story by Goldberg, it's best to wait for more than 48 hours, rather than uncritically believing him.
'suckers and losers'

You know Goldberg wasn’t the only one to overhear Trump call fallen soldiers suckers and losers, right? You know these comments were confirmed by John Kelly? The very same John Kelly whom Trump appointed as Secretary of DHS? The conservative who oversaw the travel ban from Muslim countries and who lobbied to separate mothers from babies at the border as a deterrent? The same John Kelly who was then promoted by the president to Chief of Staff? In other words, not a democratic operative, but a dyed-in-the-wool conservative hand picked by the president himself. He confirmed it.

But sure, put it in quotes as though it isn’t true. As though he didn’t say on national television about John McCain, “I like people who weren’t captured.”

Honestly the pretzels you people knot yourselves into in order to support this man is wild.

I can't take avoid taking the bait either, but we have to. This is Karoline et al's strategy for changing the topic.

Everyone, most especially Trump's inner circle, knows Trump said "suckers and losers." Karoline's strategies were learned on her high school debate team: don't address the issue, change the subject, use ad hominem attacks.

Sometimes, just to make our heads spin faster, they might "accept responsibility" and then deny it.

Yes, in high school we all were told that these tactics "damage credibility," but Karoline et all know that if you use these strategies fast and often, you sound smart (/s) and the audience is confused. Plus, they learned about the Recency Effect in AP psych so really, it is just about the last thing people hear.

Waltz TOOK the responsibility. The responsibility is GONE. What don't you understand? Get over it!

Even though he doesn't know this journalist at all, despite having his personal cell number in is phone. Because of course Waltz doesn't leak to the press. No sir. Not at all.

National security adviser Mike Waltz said Tuesday that he is taking “full responsibility” for the inclusion of a journalist in a group chat discussing war plans.

But first, he trashed The Atlantic editor who was included in the chat, denied any knowledge of how it happened and promised that Elon Musk would investigate along with other Trump administrators.

"What are you going to do about this leak of classified information, which likely indicates an entire common practice of insecure communication?"

"I'm going to hand it all over to an unvetted foreigner who is known to not understand how computer systems work, and who has an established track record of mishandling sensitive information"

So typical. Waltz says, the buck stops with me. I am "responsible." Then proceeds to trash the journalist who exposed his wrongdoing.

MAGA....and Fox eats it up and puts it out there.

You know, Trump said exactly this to reporters this afternoon. Which is pretty funny, considering that Waltz, Miller and Rubio were all at Mar-a-Lago on March 15 in order to help Trump put taxpayer dollars directly into his own pocket.

That was ironic, even though Trump didn't realize it. Tulsi Gabbard was in India when the chat was going on as part of her "multi-nation tour", for what purpose, God only knows, but she gave a speech praising Hinduism while she was there. Trump envoy Witkoff was in Russia with Putin, presumably washing Putin's car.

Why is she spouting all this illegal DEI nonsense?

Personally I love all her I don't recall and even better is when she said she hadn't read the policy on not using personal phones and everyday apps for communication on classified information. Awesome that we have so many highly capable people in this admin....I mean yes men and women for dump. So over MAGA and the gaslighting.

MAGAs haven't "gotten over" losing the 2020 election or the Civil War and we are ALL still paying for it.
