Now tell us what his going on with childhood cancer research funding. Go on. I think that's more important.

I do not think there is any candidate or any message that would have near 100% support among Dems right now.

Backhanded compliment.

You know who else unified their parties (for a while)?

Franco
Mussolini
Napoleon

I could go on....

You can repeat the nonsense about Hitler and Mussolini and dictators as much as you want, but it it lost you the 2024 election and it will lose future elections even worse.

and it looks like even then left wing DCUM crowd can't dispute that the Democrats are fractured. you should either come together with us and support Trump, or come up with a good agenda of your own. but spouting crap about dictators that nobody believes ain't working!

OMG. Of course it is more important. I am a Democrat, although at this rate not one for long because the party is going to simply implode from incompetence.

How, pray tell, did refusing to stand for a child who has survived cancer help childhood cancer funding? Do you think the petulant and pathetic tantrum the Democrats threw will do literally anything to help restore funding?

I cannot believe how terribly the Democrats performed last night. Screaming about literal Hitler in their social media or whatever, but faced with a chance to show true opposition, they waved idiotic little signs and didn’t cheer for a child who survived cancer or the mother of a murder victim? The party is lost. Totally lost.

I will never 'come together' to support that man. You can destroy America without Democrats.

The mess from last night showed me that they don’t have a plan. I’m not jumping ship because I find Trump more concerning than them, but what on earth were they thinking last night.

Yup. They have no plan, and out-of-touch morons are running the party.

I cannot believe that the only action Senate Democrats can exert themselves to take is on an issue where they have lost like 80% of the voters. Then they come to this speech, wave absolutely idiotic signs, and refuse to stand for childhood cancer survivors.

These people don’t deserve to govern. They are too stupid to govern.

What does weak up mean?

Anonymous wrote:At the end of his speech, Rep. Melanie Stansbury quietly exercised free speech by holding up a little sign that said "This is not normal" - Rep. Lance Gooden went over to her and ripped it out of her hands and threw it into the air.

Gooden should be charged with battery for intentional and unlawful physical contact and use of force against another person without consent. He should also be reprimanded censured, but of course spineless Mike won't do that.

Perfectly underscoring the message on her sign.

Seems like they both demonstrated free speech.

Assaulting someone is not free speech, WTF is wrong with you

I thought they were. Obviously a better idea than showing up to protest.

AGAIN, look at the partisan composition of those who were polled.

Everyone is looking for leadership and what to do next and they don’t seem to have any of it. Like everyone should get behind one definitive voice and tell the public what they should be doing right now.

Everybody lost the election except for the mega rich. The state of the Democratic Party is irrelevant right now. We’re more concerned about the states of the country.

Nobody in their right mind would support Trump. We know he is the biggest threat to the country in its history. You have to be a traitor to support him, knowingly or not. There isn’t a single argument you could make that would justify supporting him. You have to wear a bag over your head to be ok with what is going on.

Yes, because being nice and playing by the rules is far more important
