NVA/Loudoun to MLS Next

Not sure what the instagram links are suppose to prove. NVA may be tied to some contract but what’s that got to do with any announcement? If they’re staying ECNL why all the shenanigans with taking down badges and the shady stuff with their website? If going GA, let me guess they’re bound not to say anything until after ID sessions are over?

maybe trying to avoid an early exodus or lawsuit from anyone at thisnpt. Who knows. Agree on the shenanigans… but business decisions say either badge they need to somehow retain quality players. Players will know if there is a pressure play to commit .

Out. Dmv girls soccer just sucks… as evidenced by any game vs any west coast club if u guys even make it that far.

Maybe ecnl wants to divest out of the dmv…. And then the carolinas

I’m sorry for a basic question but I’m a McLean parent just migrating to this board after our news today. Is the expectation that NVA will leave ECNL and move to GA and MLSN or that Loudoun will field separate teams in those leagues but NVA will stay in ECNL? I had assumed the former but just read something that suggested the latter.

My DD plays for NVA Girls ECNL and there’s been absolutely no verbiage on this topic at all. I’m not discounting the rumors or what actually may happen, just letting you know what I know from NVA at this point which is 0

I agree that DMV “elite” teams are not elite because the talent isn’t deep enough for the number of teams, but if your theory is right then why would ECNL leave Union in place?

Nor did they before. Shared it with two other clubs. Now they have two more revenue streams. Missing the trees from the forest. This has nothing to do with the girls nor the competition

McLean was once a storied and envied franchise. Now it sucks.
