Biden could bring in the oil producers and actually, you know, ask them how to ramp up production quickly.
Kind of a "Warp speed" for gas and oil production.

But, he won't. He would anger the progressives. Can't have that.

Yeah, all Biden would have to do was snap his fingers for the magic to happen. I wonder why no one thought of that.

Biden is otr stating he can’t do “much.” What is he doing? And that’s a total absence of leadership and actual care he is exhibiting.

He’s doing plenty, it’s not like you’d ever give him credit for anything so who cares what you think?

I would like to know what Biden is doing? You say “plenty,” and then disappear. I don’t think he’s doing anything.

Well gas is going up yet again. It’s only going to get worse from here folks. We’re headed for depression

He does otherwise he wouldn’t be complaining about it nor tying to release reserves.

Bit remember when he saved us 16 cents on hotdogs for 4th of July? Thanks Biden

Joe doesn’t drive an electric car. Energy efficient vehicles are for the peasants.

I filled up today as I like to stock everything on a Sunday. It was about $60 to fill my Camry. I can usually make a tank last two weeks though, so we’re very lucky.

Doesn’t matter whose fault it is, the midterms will be worse than usual for the party in power. I wish that weren’t true, as I’m not looking forward to the Orange Emperors return but that’s the reality of it. Posting on here about how people shouldn’t be mad is useless.

I recall it being worse in 2012, and at the time was doing tons and tons of highway driving. But the solution was to buy a Honda Civic and then I started enjoying around 45 mpg and the cost of gas didn't even bother me.

I think the gas prices then, adjusted for inflation, would be around $0.50 higher then than they are now.

Average gas tank 13 gallons, even if it goes up by 1.00/Gal due to Russian invasion, that’s $13.00 more per tank approximately $676 for the year (assuming one tank per week). I’m willing to pay that to save an American soldier from war. And if a war does break out, probably a draft will be started which will include males and females.

Where is the anger for the GOP who have supported big oil for decades. If we as a country had heeded warnings and worked to develop alternatives we could be free of our dependence on other’s for energy and maybe even helped avert the climate change.

But no, had to keep making the money from oil.

Regardless of whether I think the selective service system, it has not yet been amended to include women, and there would be zero political to make that change as we are literally going into war. If the draft were reinstituted because of a war with Russia in the near future, it would only apply to people born male.

Maybe you need to explain it to the DCCC and the White House.
