And what is your side proposing?

Increasing domestic oil production, lowering taxes and regulations.

Repubs don't have any other ideas than tax cuts.

The Trump tax cut worked so brilliantly. But do carry on.

Yes they did. And increasing domestic production and reducing regulations would help too but Biden will never do that.

A tax cut won’t spur domestic production. Production isn’t increasing because drillers don’t believing the long term returns are feasible given the move toward electric cars and renewable energy.

What an asinine suggestion.

And even if all oil exploration was greenlighted it would take more than a year for new oil to even show up in the market.

I think that was in response to inflation.

PP was responding to this comment:

And, then a poster said this:

Biden could bring in the oil producers and actually, you know, ask them how to ramp up production quickly.
Kind of a "Warp speed" for gas and oil production.

But, he won't. He would anger the progressives. Can't have that.

Yeah, all Biden would have to do was snap his fingers for the magic to happen. I wonder why no one thought of that.

What about a “Manhattan Project” to develop a car engine that gets 100 or 200 mpg?

Biden is otr stating he can’t do “much.” What is he doing? And that’s a total absence of leadership and actual care he is exhibiting.

They’ve been trying that for decades, dork.

They exist already but not enough horsepower for aggressive Americans. It’s a marketing problem that car companies have no incentive to solve.

He’s doing plenty, it’s not like you’d ever give him credit for anything so who cares what you think?
