| The gossip blinds and body language experts are having a field day with Blake and Ryan’s latest appearance |
| The internalized misogyny on this thread is fascinating, and sad. |
Personally find it sad (and not the least bit fascinating) when one uses feminism as an excuse to believe lies designed to ruin an innocent person’s life. Lively is doing tremendous harm to actual victims of sexual harassment as well as to the Wayfarer defendants. |
Why? I'm a feminist so I am absolutely disgusted to see this woman destroy the progress made by the Me Too movement that will make it much more difficult for victims to be believed going forward. It's sad, pathetic, and disgusting behavior on Blake's part to throw other women under the bus like she's doing. |
+1. If Blake had claimed it, Justin assaulted her robbed her when they were alone. I would’ve absolutely believed her because I really don’t think women lie about that stuff. It’s humiliating and invasive and associated with a lot of shame, even though it’s not our fault. But what she is accusing of him is so easily just exaggerated. And some of the things in her complaints are not even related to sexual harassment. Like in May 2023, she and her baby got Covid and she blamed for that? Hello? Who was following Covid protocols in May 2023. No one was masking or testing. I’m truly sorry her baby got Covid but that’s not sexual harassment. And then seems like inviting people in your trailer while you’re breast-feeding and getting your chest makeup taken off and complaining they “copped a look” (is she a 12 year old boy) and again with the birthing scene saying they wanted to simulate frontal nudity when it makes no sense when she wasn’t actually pregnant and it’s been disputed by multiple cast and crew. And then the dancing scene as someone pointed out so ridiculously based on lies because they didn’t know that we’d ever hear the audio. That was truly egregious. She blatantly lied about what happened there and we all saw it and heard it. The feminist movement is not about extorting a man less powerful you so you can get a producer credit and back end on a film and rights to the sequel. I don’t think that was what Gloria Steinem was fighting for. |
Should say groped not robbed. |
Do I say that, no? It’s not believe all women, but the way in which it’s being discussed in many posts. Seems like I hit a nerve. Good. |
You are in too deep. |
He needs to divorce the nut bag if he wants to try to save his own failing career. Otherwise they both go down with the Titanic. |
She and her husband are low IQ, uneducated, phony, conniving, shameless scammers. This is just the first time they’ve had anyone push back. Bullies typically crumble when someone hits back. |
I agree with you completely. Most of us didn’t even know Justin Baldoni before all of this. We’re not on his side because of some internalized misogyny but because we’ve looked at the facts. When the story first came out, my first thought was wow that’s terrible. Then Justin dropped the dance video and I was like well that’s odd, this video is very different than what she described. At that point, my view started to shift in favor of Justin but I still hadn’t paid much attention to the case, and I would still defend Blake when people said oh she’s not attractive etc, because I think she is a pretty girl and I never had anything against her (just never cared enough). Then after a few weeks of debating with people on here, I was like let me read Justin’s timeline so I’m fully informed when I’m giving my opinion. It took hours, but after that I was solidly on Justin’s side. Blake’s behavior has been hypocritical, manipulative and downright cruel towards Justin. It was honestly hard to read the timeline. And the things we’ve learned as the case has continued to unfold has further painted her in this light (the subpoena, weaponizing me too including in that time speech, leaking Wallace’s health information). So if you’re pro Blake, take a beat and read the timeline and then let me know if you still feel the same. |
Not in the way you intended. Just another condescendinf, out of touch pro Lively post. |
DP, and I totally agree with you. I can’t finish reading some of these posts, they give me the ick. |
What gives me the ick is women who try to put other women in a box and say we must support Blake because she’s a woman and if we don’t we’re mommy sleuths with internalized misogyny. If your go to is insulting or shaming other women for not agreeing with you, it means you’ve lost on the merits of the debate and have moved on to ad hominem attacks. It’s really quite sad. A familiar playbook even but won’t work here. |
