The Trump Women and their Fashion Mishaps - Part Three

I love Melania's style but this is such a lame Easter outfit. It would be fine for any other event but it just feels so dull compared to all the pastels.

It's not a terrible outfit, but totally wrong for this event. I do think she messages through her clothes and the message here is I don't want to be here.

Anonymous wrote:Did you see Melania’s Easter egg roll outfit? I like it but it’s way more casual than anything any First Lady has worn before. She clearly did not buy an outfit special for the event. It’s spring-ish but doesn’t seem to be very Easter-y.
And she seems totally done with dresses/skirts. I wonder if she got some varicose veins and is trying to cover them up? I am a huge fan of pants myself but this seems like such a big shift from where she was a couple of years ago, even during the Florida interregnum where she favored flowy tropical dresses (which I loved for her).

I love this look - very nautical and crisp, springlike without the ridiculous dated florals that Jill Biden insisted on wearing.

I mean, Karoline Leavitt is definitely taking on Jill Biden’s florals, but she is in her 20s.

The timer that Trump is holding must be foreshadowing that Melania’s time is up.

They are both holding whistles.

I love Melania's Easter look. It's so much more modern and fresh looking than a dated-looking floral dress. It's a subtly nautical look that I definitely go for in my own spring wardrobe.

I agree. She didn’t need to go all in on pastel florals but this reads as way too casual for the woman hosting this particular event.

It is clear the theme of this FLOTUS round 2 is "IDGAF".

Interesting, why? I don't like the color combo but I actually felt like this was one of her better looks lol.

Melania dresses for the event, that is the perfect outfit for when it’s Easter, but you know you’re going to be standing next to a man telling children about a war.

It fits and it's not drab. I call it a win.

+1
Like the PP, looking at the dress by itself on the right is a visceral hate. Cannot imagine looking at that twice. Looks like thrift shop garbage. On her, though, it's a win. Somehow it works. That's exactly the vision a stylist has so maybe she has one?

I don't understand why she would not want to be there of all required-of-her events? I mean, we all constantly comment on here how happy she is around children, no?

I hate it too. Reminds me of 1970’s housecoat vibes.

Man, she really loves this Toccin brand, huh? I wonder if they agreed to style her or something.

I've noticed when she has a trip she goes all in on one brand, probably because it's easy to buy it all at once. She did that with Favorite Daughter in Europe a couple years ago.

Favorite Daughter is sold at Nordstrom and Toccin is sold at Bloomingdale's so I would imagine she's just buying things that are easy for staff to return to Tyson's while she's gone if it doesn't work out.
