OP counted Georgetown twice. Still, it looks like if you are in the top 1/3 of the class, you’re going to a top 50 school - this is remarkable.

Lots of donut hole families, hence a lot of kids going to UMD.

Name-brand colleges & universities are not a litmus test for students' achievements.

I just went through the entire list. From top to bottom, for a public school, it is a really impressive showing.

Whitman highschool curriculum, faculty or staff had nothing to do with these results.
