Research for a paper. parents only please.

Hello

I am doing a research paper for my Masters and I am collecting data.

I am basically wanting to know how much a week per child you pay for childcare and what area you are in. I also need to know if it is in an Inhome, chain daycare center ( chain daycares are national or state wide such as goddard, childrens world, kindercare, minnieland, La Petite, winwood and so forth), or daycare could be a church or a small independent one. Also the age of the child too. Also if you have to provide food. I know there are some large chains that make you bring your own lunch. Why you picked the center just one reason is fine.

Examples 18 month old, Fairfax city, Chain, 330 a week. food provided, great staff

3 year old, arlington county, inhome, 250 a week, food provided, near my house

2 and 4 year old, Burke, daycare Independent, food provided, 300 for the 2 year old and 280 for the 4 year old. close to house, low staff turn overs.

Thanks for helping... I am collecting data until January 2010

In Fairfax county, in-home provider, all food provided, I have to provide diapers/wipes.

Just curious: OP, what kind of study is this? I ask because you do realize that data collected this way has zero validity, don't you?
Anonymous
OP here. Actually it does there are other parts of my paper that I am not asking of you. I will be conducting other research but that I am doing in person.

I cannot tell you about my research paper until it is done. If you don't want to help I respect that.

children ages: 2.5, 1.5, 4 months
$350/week (w/ sibling discount)
DC - near my job
In-Home/Family provider
Meals provided by provider

Chose this provider b/c I much prefer a small, family-like environment to a large daycare center. It's like a 'home away from home' for my children, close to my job, extremely reasonable price, and offers a lot of stimulating educational activities for the children. And I flat out just LIKE the provider and feel 110% comfortable leaving my children with them.

Good luck w/ your research! I'm also in grad school so I can relate

Really, you are getting your graduate degree? Your message was so poorly-written.
