OP, sorry about the hateful pill trolling the forum. I'm glad that you are taking the time to ask these questions. I might also ask people to indicate what hours their fees include. Some could be 9-noon, while others could be 7am-7pm. Good luck with your studies.

OP here...

Thank you parents for your help. That is a good suggestion I just thought people would tell about their full time rates.

AS for the nasty people posting comments it really isn't appreciated.

If you can't say anything nice you shouldn't say anything at all.

I am also looking into whether or not they allow special needs children but I am doing that in person. I have found many it is case by case.

5 month old, inhome, fairfax city, 350. diapers, wipes, organic baby food provided.

Only 6 children in her care she has a full time helper. After kids are 2.5 they move on to another daycare down the street. She provides food, diapers and wipes.

Only thing I have to bring is formula and diaper rash cream.

I'm the Kindercare poster. There are several kids with Down's at my child's day care, which I'm thrilled with personally.

Thanks people for posting I need a few more to make this work...

I am glad daycare centers are taking special needs children. I think many daycares are more often to take a child with Down Syndrome than Autism though...

thanks parents. I am finding some great information. Did you know some people in lower parts of Northern Virginia are paying like 125 for inhome and 195 for daycare centers. I am shocked at the different amounts people pay...

There is huge variation around the DC Metro area. I had a quote of $225 a week for center day care in Annapolis, $300 a week in Alexandria, $300 a week in Columbia, and $450 a week up in Rockville when I started looking for my son. That was back in 2007. All of the centers seemed to be of similar quality and staff. (We weren't sure where we'd be living at the time, so I was checking everywhere).
