2003 McLean Biys ECNL ID sessions

Team has drastically improved in just 6 months under coach Alan Portillo. Talented players looking for true soccer development come to a training session or ask for some game footage to see what this team and coach atr all about.

For those results-driven, Spring results include draws or wins against all of the top teams in Virginia. (BRYC, Arlington Pre-DA, Richmond DA and LMVSC). 3 victories in jeff cup showcase and, most importantly, player development has been steep.

Looking to build a ECNL national championship contender for next year with more of the right type of players.

No. That is Jamil Walker. Alan Portillo’s 01s have become one of best teams in country for last 2 years but haven’t been able to win that trophy.

His 03s look to be on a good trajectory as well after his first 6 months.

Coach Alan is a fantastic coach! If your son has a strong work ethic and commitment level he can take your son to the next level.

How much does the extra travel cost? Don't they have a lot of ECNL games in North and South Carolina? BRYC and Loudoun appear be their only local competition.

That’s a good one. Half the topics on this forum are the same style of “recruiting ”.

Pretty confident that Alan’s 01s can play with anyone in this country at that age. But if you’re looking for kick and chase, then Alan isn’t for your child. As the OP said, come watch a session and see what a “teacher” looks like.
