His teams don't hide from anyone and already played a few of those and far from getting run off pitch they were many times the better team even when not the most talented.

And I guarantee Alan isn't on here...he is one of a rare few coaches in the area where his work speaks for itself and has no need to post on a parent's forum as a coach...unlike the several other coaches that post on these boards. We know who those are.

If you are worried that your players will leave for another team, try being a better coach, a better teacher and a better person, they will stay and more will flock to you. Being an arrogant fake only can last so long before people see through it.

The team last year had a different coach so this is a new team for this coach. They didn't win a game last year and had a negative 60+ goal differential. But to each his own. Stick with your coach, I am sure Barcelona will be offering your coach a job soon.

Seems to me that the only people that are concerned about recruiting are those clubs and coaches that aren't creating a desirable place for kids to play. Or maybe you expect that it doesn't matter what quality of work you do and that people will flock to you or stay with you regardless.

For any parents on here, if you are interested in a team, coach or club, just go watch that team train or play a game. It isn't top secret and there is no fee to watch. You can also ask parents of kids on that team for their thoughts. What you shouldn't do is take the word of some nut on this board that doesn't know their head from their butt.
