Where are all you families of high performing students planning on moving to?

So let’s say hypothetically that MCPS continues on this path of destruction as it redraws the boundary lines all over the county. I keep hearing about some kind of Exodus happening. Where are you all moving to? Maybe we can all go there together.

East of Eden for sure.

Someone on another board post had recommended VA/DC/Frederick and even PG.

Private. Seriously.

Magnet, if your DC can get in
Private, if you can pay
Howard, if you can handle the commute
MoCo, if you answer “no” to above

We’re doing private depending on how everything goes.

Leaning towards private...

We actually had DC in private previously. And now with all of this madness with MCPS we wish we had just stayed put.

VA would be a major uproot. So, either Fredrick or Howard.

I already work in NoVa. Just waiting for the older child to graduate High School. Three more years is all I need. Hopefully younger kid can test ibto the AAP.

It’s likely to be Frederick for us.

Us, too. See you there!

Moving to Howard. Better demographics and better schools.

Funny, I was just discussing this with my neighbors earlier today. Frederick seems like an easier move. We would love to be within a reasonable proximity to DC’s friends.

Private for us (though it would be a financial stress) or possibly Frederick Co.
