Actual studies findings disagree with your feelings. |
Your ignorance and desire to argue made you jump straight into an RAE assumption. But since you opened that gate, RAE isn't just about the month you're born. Its about your maturation against people in your birth year. Being born in October doesn't make you automatically smaller, weaker, slower and less mentally mature than a kid born in March Its case by case. |
Sooo close to understanding that outliers exist. |
You probably didn't know there was such a thing as RAE until it was first mentioned in this thread |
Oooh. Nice burn! You are one smart cookie. |

My understanding is that a majority of other countries go by School Year. A lot of other countries, though, use Birth Year to determine school year. Where a country’s school year is determined similar to the U.S., their soccer system typically goes by the school year ages (i.e., England). |
Next Wednesday. |
Are you aware of research showing that it all washes out and birth month has no impact on youth development or are you going with a gut feeling of a random parent of a kid? |
A Jan 2014 playing a year up is not as impressive as a December 2014 playing a year up. I’d even argue that a Dec 2014 playing with other 2014s is more impressive than a Jan 2014 starting in their age group. |
Relatively to to the kid's birth month in relation to the age cutoff of course. |
