right now? Some AAP poster freaking out regular gen ed kids will be "mixed in" with her precious kid. |
The “what are you doing on a mommy website if you don’t have kids?” posters on a thread about kitchen counters, or ETFs, or the Virginia governor’s race? Hate. I report those and Jeff deletes them. |
The schools must reopen NOW folks. Sigh. I get it. We all want to go back to normal ASAP. But lashing out at teachers, principals, and other parents is furthering your argument. |
The "CNU is a conservative school" poster |
The Roll Tide! guy. Roll Tide! |
They’re the human equivalent of those OPEN SCHOOLS NOW signs. So bizarrely aggressive. And unhelpful. |
The ones who biplanes degree snqpp all miss asemwnd. |
Yes!! Especially adults. |
I like "I'm loving" or "I'm wanting." It suggests a crush, a craving, a temporary fascination. IOW, it's a distinction with meaning, not just a slangy way of using those verbs. |
That type of poster rears her ugly head every year. AAP is such a scourge. |
Another one in that general vein-- Post about test scores or gifted programs or something. 5 out of 7 posters mention their kid was in the 99th percentile. Some person with a poor understanding of statistics and response bias: "Lol no way so many of you have kids in the 99th percentile! Most of you are obviously lying." |
Posters who love to tell people that they are fat or they can fix the issue if they would just lose weight.
|
The ‘prosecutors’ on this board, who will ask a PP a clarification question for the sole purpose of ripping them to shreds. |
Let them reopen. When numbers surge, schools will shut down. And, maybe when their kids get sick, more people will take COVID more seriously. |
Really? I find him amusing. |
